The hard zirconia material used in EZARC flap sanding discs lasts longer than standard aluminum oxide abrasive material, resulting in a more durable and cost-effective grinding wheel.

The 40 grit flap disc has a coarser construction and is best for removing heavier stock. Our flap disc can be used to remove weld reinforcement, deburr, polish, and remove rust from metal or wood.

The combination of glass fiber and adhesive is strong and won't pollute the work surface. The fiberglass pad absorbs vibrations effectively, resulting in more stable and efficient grinding.

The Bevel Type 29 angle design makes edge and corner grinding a lot easier, and it's also great for surface sanding and working on welded seams at a 5 to 15° angle.

4-1/2-inch diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor size, suitable for use with an angle grinder with a maximum grinding speed of 13, 300 RPM. This angle grinder flap disc can be used to grind, blend, sand, and finish a wide variety of materials.

Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. Our flap discs are designed to polish metal or wood, but polishing ceramics necessitates the use of diamond material.

What's the difference between flap discs with 40 grits and those with 80 grits?

Flap discs with a 40 grit rating are ideal for HEAVY CUTTING AND BLENDING and are ideal for stock removal, beveling, and weld blending on both contoured and flat surfaces. br>80 grit flap discs are great for LIGHTER BLENDING AND FINISHING as well as other abrasive jobs like rust removal.

The flaps are not as thick as they appear in the picture

The depth and thickness shown in the picture are not accurate. However, it is far superior to Harbor Freight. It's not as thick as Home Depot's Diablo or the Flat Iron brand from my steel supply store, but it's only $4. Each was worth 50 cents, and there were about 1. 25 ea. The disc is approximately 3/16" thick and covers approximately four flaps. About 5-foot is clearly visible in the image. 6 flaps. Oh well, just like at any fast food joint, the bottom of the image should read "enlarged to show texture. " We're not going to return these, so we'll eat them up and try a different brand next time.

A long life expectancy

The life expectancy of these discs is good. They continuously remove produce to a smooth surface when used to the inner core. The price per disc and the amount of use provided have both impressed me. They come highly recommended, and I plan to buy them again.

They aren't as big as they used to be

They're fine and a good deal, but because the disk surface is smaller, they wear out more quickly. They are not as wide as more expensive disks, which isn't a deal breaker. Best of luck!.

I usually go through 1 1/2 - 2 pairs of shoes per year. Each job requires two disks. Regardless, I'll keep ordering them because they're great! I'll just keep a stash of Diablo Steel Demons on hand.

pack. I went with the 40-minute option. grit, and they got right to work on everything I threw at them, which was mostly mild and stainless steel. The held up well for a larger media size while still being capable of removing material as it was applied. I will definitely buy from you again.
