I bought six of these at this low price just to have backups. ups. As you can see in my video, it works quickly on concrete but takes a little longer on dense brick. However, it will cut through any masonry and is particularly useful for cleaning out old joint work. br>br>When cutting masonry, here are some safety tips that I mention in my video: br>br>When cutting with my grinder, I always wear good eye protection because dust and bits of rock fly around a lot! br>A dust mask or respirator is also essential, as the amount of dust produced by masonry cutting is quite impressive. br>Gloves are also essential, simply because of all the flying rock and dust. br>Note that some people use their grinders without the guard when cutting masonry, but I prefer to keep the guard on and only cut on the front 1/2 of the wheel. br>br>I've used DeWalt products for many years now, and completely trust their quality. This masonry cutting wheel isn't any different. This wheel will last a long time before it needs to be replaced.
. br>I did not receive this product as part of a promotion. I purchased it after conducting some research, and this review is solely based on my personal experiences with the product.
As part of various outdoor landscape projects, I needed to be able to trim bricks and concrete with my hand grinder. The diameter whelk that fits my grinder limits the cut depth, but the cuts were fast and clean. br>br>When using, make sure to wear a face shield and a respirator. While the wheel wore evenly and safely during use, the fine cuttings (dust) generated during use must be protected from your eyes and lungs. Any dry concrete cutting wheel requires the use of a respirator and a shield. Cutting wheel wear is even and structurally sound, which is the most important point to remember. This means I can quickly and safely trim brick and concrete to fit during installations with minimal risk of dangerous wheel breakage if I use the tool correctly.
I haven't used it yet, but it doesn't appear to be the same as the blade I have from Home Depot. I doubt its authenticity because of the complaints about how long it lasts.
I'd used up half of the disc's capacity. The tile was cracked due to the excessive vibration, so I bought a diamond blade, which worked perfectly. The lesson has been learned. It gets two stars because it cuts, and it gets another star because it's inexpensive at just over $2. Just make sure you don't use it on tile.
Why. I've never owned a grinder before. I'm 50 years old and haven't used tools in a long time. The value for money is outstanding. I hoped this didn't have an impact on my ability to use. These will be used to remove concrete from an aluminum plank on a motorcycle trailer and to repair various simple concrete projects. br>br>Need these to remove concrete from an aluminum plank on a motorcycle trailer and to repair various simple concrete projects. Projects involving wood and stones in the arts. br>br>I've been very pleased so far. This is a fantastic purchase. The money was well spent. br>br>Works flawlesslybr>br>.
However, if you need to make several cuts, a diamond disc is preferable because it lasts longer. These tend to wear out quickly and produce a lot of dust, so I would only recommend them for one-time use.
I'm so glad Amazon sells them. I hope they are able to get through this difficult period. No one is blameless, and what doesn't kill us only strengthens us. Keep that in mind, Amazon. Then there's the matter of my metal detector. My daughter received it as a present. I'm fed up with being irritated about it. Simply calculate a figure that is close to the dollar figure. or help animal rescue in Colorado by donating a large sum of money in the name of Mother Earth. If I had an extra $300, I would have done something like this. 00 in the middle of nowhere. lol.
These are excellent for cutting paving stones, but because they ablate, you'll need a lot of them. Unfortunately, Amazon has imposed a limit on the number of items that can be purchased. Do they not realize how quickly these things degrade? Stupid.
