It will fit if you remove the guard, but it is a bit risky. I have a lot of experience with Makita 4 1/2 18 volt cordless grinders.
They aren't slanted at all; they're flat. These are cutoff wheels with a type 45 bell shape for face grinding. br>These wheels are only for cutting off from the edge; no face grinding is possible with them.

The money was well spent! I've had prior experience with the more expensive ones. Each one costs around $7! Both of them are comparable. These wheels outperform the more expensive cut-off wheels in terms of price. The images show what I was able to achieve using only one wheel. A forklift fork is used as the material. The grain structure in the photo demonstrates how well the wheel cuts. I didn't use a second wheel because I wanted to be completely honest in my review. I used that wheel to cut smaller materials as well. The chip on the wheel is the result of me bumping it, which caused the chip.
Cutoff wheels, like all cutoff wheels, should not be forced to cut; instead, let the wheel and weight grinder do the work. Start by cutting a solid piece of work rather than cutting on the edge, as this will protect the blade from chipping and shattering. Other than that, the blades are great. If they are tangled for even a fraction of a second, they will untangle. Update: After purchasing a Metalbo, this grinding wheel works flawlessly, and I have had no issues with them. I adore the Metalbo with the slip clutch and these blades. I use them to cut steel, cast iron, cast aluminum, copper tubing, brass, short iron, and stainless steel.
Chemex coffee is simply the best; it takes a little longer to make a cup, but it's well worth the effort. This is how I'm going to make my coffee if I have time. Because the coffee in my chemex is so smooth, I started drinking it black as soon as I started making it. br>br>Be sure to get the chemex brand filters, and watch a video or read the instructions for making the coffee. When making chemex coffee, you use more coffee than if you were making drip coffee. It'll be fine if you just put some coffee and water in there, but it won't taste much different than any other drip coffee. As a result, make certain to adhere to the guidelines. A medium grind is also extremely beneficial. I made it with pre-made pre-cut vegetables from the store. If you grind the coffee finer before pouring it through the filter, it will drain more slowly and won't finish if you don't stir it. It's perfect when I make it with coffee, which I grind at home with a good medium grind. br>br>Have fun chemexing!.
This wheel has been used to cut a variety of automotive parts. I used to use Harbor Freight, but those are garbage in comparison to these. I wouldn't say they're the toughest, but they're the best. I'd rather have a cheap, durable cut off wheel than a strong, expensive cut off wheel because it's so easy to get them stuck or damage a cut off wheel by setting an angle grinder down the wrong way. If you're careful and use these correctly, you'll be able to get a lot done. I'm very pleased with the price I paid for these low-cost discs. Shipped to your door for the same price as harbor freight but with a three-fold lifespan. For hobbyists, 25 might seem like a lifetime supply, but if you're anything like me, you'll find any excuse to use them.
I've already completed three of them. I've now seen four of these, and I'm not impressed at all. The first thing I noticed was that the disc was wobbling a lot during a cut. My grinder came to a halt because I suspected A. Either the disc was strewn around or B. My grinder had a problem (a bearing had worn out, for example). Even with relatively light pressure on them, these discs flex a lot. When cutting, they wobble and flex, making a straight cut nearly impossible. I've also had one disc separate from the main disc, like a thin layer separating from the main disc (kinda split like the two layers of toilet paper, which had very little use on it). I bought these discs thinking they'd be a good way to save money on discs, but they're mostly collecting dust on my shelf now, and I've gone back to using more expensive discs from Home Depot and Lowes (which has only confirmed how bad these discs are). In the end, it was a waste of money, and it was only useful for non-professionals. cutting with extreme accuracy.
These are some good cutoff wheels at a reasonable price. None of the abrasive wheels I've tried have lasted more than a few minutes. This isn't the case. But they're not as expensive as some, and I can't tell the difference between them and higher-priced options in terms of performance or durability. They are the fastest option on expanded metal, and I go through about 50 of them in a year. Much faster than a plasma cutter or a torch.
I'll be returning these because they flex a lot more than the products I normally use. The difference appears to be in the size of the opening in the fibrous material used in this product; it's a lot bigger, and I'm worried about personal injury to my employees and myself. However, all of the other Benchmark products I've purchased have been excellent in terms of quality and value.
I've tried a lot of different brands of 6" cut off wheels, and these are by far the best and, surprisingly, the most affordable. These are a dollar a piece, and I've used $6 a piece ones that didn't work as well. I use them on a Metabo grinder with a 6" guard, and they give me a nice clean straight cut. If you let the blade do the work, you'll be fine. I've used them on a variety of steels, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel, and they've performed admirably. I'm going to buy four more boxes. I strongly suggest it.
