Yes, I believe that is the case. My Milwaukee battery grinder was the perfect tool for the job. As long as your grinder is at least 4 1/2 inches in diameter, you're good to go.
Yes, everything appears to be in order. A Bosch 1375A angle grinder is one of the tools I have.

A variety pack of 40, 60, 80, and 120 grit was advertised. It was all 40 grit that I received. The variety pack was advertised on the tag on the discs' box, but it wasn't included. I didn't play any of the discs because I'm returning them, but they appear to be good quality. However, unless the manufacturer corrects the labels, the issue that has been raised by so many people will continue. And if we, the customers, do not continue to return them, the manufacturer will have no incentive to fix the problem. Regrettably, they appear to be nice discs at a reasonable price.
They aren't particularly expensive in comparison to others, but they don't last very long. Benchmark Abrasives, on the other hand, lasted much longer. This brand degrades quickly and falls apart as it ages. The flaps' backing material gradually shreds apart as I use them, leaving tiny bits all over the place. Because I despise them so much, I'm going to buy my regular brand and not use the rest.
I bought an Angle Grinder a few years ago and had never used it before, but I needed to remove rust from a steel table made by my wife's father, so I bought some flapper grinding discs to try it out. Wow, I was blown away by how well they work and how long they last. They are excellent at removing rust and paint from metal flat surfaces. This is a product that I wholeheartedly endorse.
I was a little hesitant to buy because of the price, but the performance of these discs has exceeded my expectations. They last the same amount of time as their more expensive counterparts, if not longer. This was a good buy.
You can't get a better deal than this, but don't expect the thick flapper discs; these are the thinner variety. If you do the math, it's still a good deal.
This is a disaster. I'm a professional, and these are terrible. They only last about an hour of grinding time before falling apart.
Flap disks that are excellent. I'm working on restoring and welding an old Ford, and these disks are excellent. They are very effective at cutting. They're just as durable as the more expensive ones. The value for money was a pleasant surprise. I'll be purchasing more in the near future.
I buy these as a throwaway disc, but on a flat smooth surface, the flaps are sometimes pulled out. I will continue to purchase.
