It offers a large variety of grits in a large quantity. The discs last a long time (even longer if the buildup is cleaned off on a regular basis). This is an extremely useful addition to my toolkit. Compared to renting a deck sander, this was a less expensive and more versatile option. This product has exceeded my expectations, and I strongly recommend that you consider purchasing it from this seller!.
These flap discs are of excellent quality. when compared to other, more well-known products I've used well-known brands. The grit selection is excellent, allowing you to transition from aggressive material removal to much smoother finishing work. I've been primarily using them to smooth and shape steel and welds. to prepare for welding by removing paint and rust. These would look fantastic on wood as well. I'd recommend these to a friend without hesitation.
When you look at the price per disc, it's a great deal. If purchased separately from big box stores or discount tool shops, this value pack is nearly half the price per disc. They perform admirably and last a long time. Regardless, I enjoy the diversity of grit vice.
I bought these because they quickly remove metal, and since I'm shaping and contouring knife blanks out of thick steel bar stock, I'm hoping they'll save me time. I plan on using these to remove a lot of metal and finishing work with my belt grinder.
I was concerned that these wouldn't last long, but I used them to sharpen ten lawnmower blades and they held up admirably. I used a 60 grit followed by a 120 grit, and I didn't even throw those away when I was finished because they were still in good condition.
If you just need a few of these, these will suffice; they aren't top-of-the-line, but they work just as well as the more expensive ones, just not for as long. However, this is a good purchase to have on hand in case you need more.
but. A flap wheel in its most basic form. They work well for a short period of time and are a good value overall. br>However, I'd rather pay a little more and avoid having to replace my wheels as frequently.
Angle grinder worked well with a box of assorted grits ranging from coarse to fine.
