That's what I believe. Parts of my deck were built by me.
These screws, according to GRK specifications, are: ESR- 2442 is a structurally approved material. Steel that has been case hardened: because of its high tensile, torque, and shear strength Thank you for taking the time to read this.br> Big Sky Fastener is a fastening company based in Big Sky, Montana.
This item is also available in stainless steel. These, however, are not the case. Coatings on stainless steel are unnecessary. As a result, it's not made of steel. Screws were an excellent choice. The only issue was that there were only 85 screws, leaving me with 15 missing. Could you please send me 15 screws?.
I'm not an expert, but these screws really tighten down. I'm using them to build a deck on my house out of treated wood.
If your driver is strong enough, you may be able to strip the hole if you don't know when to stop.
The Torx bit that comes with it is of poor quality.
They do a fantastic job of bringing wood together.
One of the hundred pieces in this box was damaged and rendered useless. Is there any chance of getting a replacement?.
Metal is being drilled. These appear to be fine, but despite what the description and packaging claim, they will not get through metal on their own. After breaking three screws, I gave up and drilled a pilot hole.
These worked great for the old posts when I was redoing my deck. We used to cinch them up all the time.
