Questions & Answers
SPS screws have a 1/4-inch head. The SML screws have a 5/16 head.
I used these screws to build 1/2" plywood drawer boxes, and I used the Kreg tool's micro or mini attachment to get acceptable results. br>Keep in mind that the final adjustments made with the Kreg tool are extremely important when using 1/2" goods because the margin for error is very small.
That is an excellent question. Depending on what Amazon has in stock, it may arrive in a cardboard or plastic container.
Don't use these on mdf because they won't hold the thread tight enough!

Without a doubt, Kreg produces the best pocket hole screws available. I wish they made a coarse thread version of the 3/4" SPS screws, or at the very least a Hi-Tension version. Version with a low volume. All micro jig projects necessitate these screws. I'm using them to put together 12mm baltic birch drawers. Don't overdo it. If you don't torque them enough, they'll come apart. In 12mm plywood applications, 1" coarse SPS screws can be used if the hole and jig stop are correctly adjusted. Keep this and the 1" sizes on hand for drawer construction and drawer front attachment.
When I first opened the cardboard box in which this was shipped, screws began to fall out of the bottom. The original package's lid had been removed, screws were scattered throughout the box, and they had discovered a portion of the cardboard flap that hadn't been taped tightly. br>br>It was a huge letdown. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this. A full box is required.
The extra money (not that much) spent on Kreg screws is well worth it - They never let you down. They're also stonier than the ones I've tried before.
These screws are fantastic. It's extremely difficult to come across. For 1/2" material, this is the appropriate screw length. In a bathroom, I used it to install Azek faux wainscoting. It looks and works great when used with the Kreg system. It was almost as if I had some sort of understanding of what I was doing.
It arrived three days after I placed my order and was in perfect condition, so there is only one word to describe it: OUTSTANDING.
With a micro jig and 1/2 ply, it's a dream come true. When screwing in, go slowly and carefully.
Kreg's work is fantastic in every way.
