Questions & Answers

According to the description and picture of the product, the hole to pull the wire is there, but when I received the product, there was no hole. Is there a hole there? Unless I misunderstood, I don't think you need one. ?

Mine has a tiny hole where a wire can be pulled A IRWIN 39106 3/8" 9 fits perfect in my palm. Verify that the part matches mine by 5 MM.

What about metal? Is this bit suitable for it ?

There is no use for concrete with this product. Using it to drill a hole through the side of a house to install a TV antenna cable was a good idea. This is supposed to be okay on metal laths since they are thin, and the temper is low. It is best to use a hammer drill with a concrete bit if you are boring into or through concrete. If you drill into good, hard concrete with a standard 3/8" or 1/2" drill, it will bounce. It was a high-end device I borrowed This is the end of the Bosch hammer The cousin who is a building contractor gave me the drill to drill into a sidewalk that's three inches thick. I just heard a splash and a chatter from my big 1/2" drill. When the hammer fell-- As if a knife were cutting butter, the drill went through it. As long as you drill carefully, backing the bit out occasionally to get rid of the drill dust/chips, it is easy to break a bit if you twitch and put the bit at an angle rather than straight. My cousin told me that I would have to buy new I'll take it. Please accept my sincere thanks for your help.

Would I need this if I want to drill a hole in the wall of the neighbor ?

As long as you are running cables through the holes, you can use this bit. It is for that purpose I use it.

Is it a small or a large?

I am aloha In my hand I have a drill that was used to drill air vents in ice lanterns during the winter. It works great. The drill is 18" long, the part that drills is 3". It is 5 1/2" long with a diameter of 3/8". It is model #39106. I hope this helps.

This drill bit has never been furnished with a wire pulling hole, as described in the product description! Description of this drill bit says it has a wire pulling hole, and the package it came in says it also has a wire pulling hole
3/5

As I received a drill bit without a hole, there is either a mistake in the packaging or someone is swapping them out as at least one other person who purchased this product received a drill bit without a hole as well. I will have to use a hanger this weekend since I have to work on my project this weekend. At this point, it wouldn't be worth it to exchange the product. It is important to be aware if you are planning to order this drill bit because of the wire pulling hole that you might not get what you need. In this review, the focus is on the fact that I received something other than what was described. The drill bit itself looks sturdy and solid, so I gave it three stars because I received something else than.

This is a must for anyone installing low voltage wiring
5/5

In case you are a cable or a I am in love with these 5 installers. To prep a house, I can use one of these and a cordless drill The Internet, TV, and phone should be wired throughout the entire house. By using the long shank, you can drill beams more easily. In addition to the small hole near the business end, the bit also has a fire fishing hole. It wouldn't be the same without them!.

There seems to be no problem with it for quite a while
5/5

The purpose of this was to drill a hole through the outside wall to allow a cable from the internet provider to be routed into the house. As if it were butter, the drill bit went through metal siding, wood, insulation and drywall! This is a very easy way to pull the cable through the wall and secure the cable to the drill bit. My first impression of the product is that it's a sturdy built product and, since I don't plan to drill very many holes in walls, I'm sure it'll last me for a long time.

This is a great running shoe for small feet In existing construction, use of gauge wire is not recommended
5/5

Wiring was run to a security camera system that is already in place. It was well able to penetrate exterior walls as well as through floors Fits easily into the 3/8" drill chuck on my drill press and is very effective at drilling.

I love it
5/5

I used this method to drill through the walls of my house to run satellite or cable cable wire. The ends of the cable are crimped after I have passed the cable through using a crimp tool.

THERE WERE TWO times when it was lost
5/5

Before I started the project, I had already lost it twice. A COLOR other than orange should be used and the box should be easier to open.

Exactly what I was looking for! It is one of the best
5/5

The drill bit I needed to drill holes for cable installation was exactly what I needed. This is the same type and quality of product you see used by cable and DTV installers. There is just about no other place to find it. This is exactly what I wanted! I am very pleased with it!.
