When they came out of the box, some of the welds on these hole saws were sloppy, and there were bumps on the outside that might catch In a few places, the teeth protruded outward, generally near the seam where the saw was welded, which caused the saw to track poorly and make holes that were too big. It is also possible for some of the saw bodies to be crooked. I took about thirty minutes to grind and tap them into a shape that was more similar to a round whole saw. In any case, I wouldn't trust them for holes with precise sizes (which they are not intended for anyway), but for rougher holes they should be fine. With the larger saws, the quick release on the arbor is a useful feature. On the arbors under 200 mm, there is no quick release. In this set, there is an extra set of drills that comes with the set. Unfortunately, they are not organized in the box in a way to store them, so they're just lying around. There is an empty space in the box where the not included drills can be stored. It is suitable to be used with a 3" hole saw. What the heck is going on The overall quality is quite poor, and the box is too big for tools that are not included. A hole saw is also not included in the box, so the box is not well constructed. They work fine after they are fixed, but why buy a tool set that requires work to fix a manufacturer's error? It may be that there are no better options.
To use the 1-inch, you will need to buy one This set needs one more to be complete. Each kit comes with a single empty space.
First of all, the box contains fewer hole saws than what appears in the image. This photo shows a spare pilot bit stored near the hinge - the third was not used in this case. It does not have a gracious place to be stored. I noticed that the blow is missing a part Using a molded container to store a step-by-step instructional video The shank has a ring up top to remove the two studs to use it with a larger bit, but it does not come with an adapter. Also, nearly all of the hole saw bits are shaped in a teardrop, which indicates poor construction and out of round. I am returning this set to the store. It should have been a little better considering the nearly $90 price tag. I've purchased a few hole saws independent of this, but they're not exactly of top quality The ones on top tier are far better than the ones on the bottom tier.
Take a look at the pictures.
It looks like it may be missing one cup or the big cups have been replaced by small cups.
I have enjoyed this set of bits very much. A nice feature of the box is that it is a bit smaller than I expected. They also provide extra pilot bits in it. The tools I have been using have chewed through wood, fiberglass, and metal. Despite a challenging situation, they have kept their sharpness and continued to work.
These are often used by me. It is a great thing that hole drills are available. I like it very much.
It works very well.
With tools made by Milwaukee, which is a highly regarded brand, I was extremely disappointed with the quality and craftsmanship of this holesaw set. One saw had missing teeth, the other was heavily bent. Purchase not likely to be repeated.
