Lenox Tools - 1772778 LENOX Tools Bi-Metal Speed Slot Arbored Hole Saw with T3 Technology, 1-7/8"

Originally, I bought this to clean up a pipe joint that was located in the exhaust system. The saw included an arbor that threads into the back of the machine. While cutting, the saw became stuck for a moment It seemed that way to me. A holesaw stripped out its threads, which caused what happened. My exhaust pipe is still stuck with the saw.

It should have come with the 2L arbor shown in the bottom pic so the threads weren't ripped. In the meantime, now that I've got the holesaw out of the exhaust pipe, I need to replace the arbor with a 2L arbor and hope it works for the one job for which I bought it. For my initial purchase, I purchased a Lenox holesaw to avoid any potential That horrible off-brand piece of junk is causing me to wish I had bought a cheaper one.

I ended up with a 2 inch hole since it wobbles without allowing you to center it yourself. In terms of what I was planning to use it for, I only needed to mount a tweeter in my A pillars, so that was about all I needed It did its job well enough that I was able to mount the speakers and have a professional looking installation. Having the speaker wobble would have made it harder for me to position the tweeters exactly where I needed them since the tweeters were able to move around as I was trying to tighten the locking collar on the back of each tweeter however my job was absolutely flawless despite the wobble. This product has a five-star value rating. It was not stated how long it would last or how durable it is.

It was purchased so that I could drill one hole An aluminum strip that is 3/16 thick is drilled with a 7/8" hole to make the cooling system adapter. It has been suggested that we use carbides for the holes- The hole could have been made with a hole saw, which is more expensive, but this will probably be enough for one hole. This thing went through it like an ice-cold knife through butter when I used drill/tap oil to cut it. Though I am unsure how long it would last through multiple holes, I will say that the teeth appear sharp and it is in no worse shape than before.

It's not exactly a size found at a hardware store. Considering Mandel's are around $10 each, a product like this is quite good value. I needed it to create adapters to house tweeters in my dashboard. The product includes the mandrel so the price is very reasonable. I want to thank you guys for a smooth and hassle-free.

Cutting through a piece of #/16 steel plate with no damage to the saw is easy. The tool will probably only be used one time, but I am delighted with its capabilities!.

There was no kerf set to my teeth when I received it. This problem occurred on 1/4 baltic birch that was high quality and bound up badly from the inside and the outside. In about ten holes, most of the paint had been burned off and it was a little more usable. Approximately 20 holes were to be cut with this. We burned the first twelve. Using a drill press at 250 revolutions per minute, I got the job done. With all the other hole saws I own, I have never experienced such a problem.

I find it to be very effective and clean in cutting. Depending on the job, I might purchase these in a different size.
