Although it will drill through the concrete board, the drill was made for wood, so you would have to sharpen it often if you wanted to drill several I would buy a regular hole saw, it would work much better than a hole saw with a swab. The bigger problem is that it will likely blow the back side of the board.

It's really amazing what this bit does. With the Irwin, I have to push the bit forward in the wood by leaning up against it. As if it were melting through the wood, this bit! It's good to be scared. An angle drill corded from DeWalt, model DW124, is what I'm using. I had no hope of getting the Irwin bit to work with my DeWalt DCD791D2. It was simply too slow to penetrate the wood with enough torque.
The paddle bit I was using to drill holes in some landscape timbers only allowed me to drill about 1. 5 inches before I had to pull it out to rid it of wood shavings or it would jam. I bought this bit, and it is like doing a hot knife cut am stacking them three high and putting rebar through them to anchor them to the ground. A paddle bit would have been too coarse for these deep holes, and this bit makes a huge difference. Also, the cutting edge is extremely sharp, making for very clean hole cuts.
It works great I have drilled about 60 holes and it is still cutting like In spite of that, my bit did develop a slight bend. The reason for that was my own fault because I was holding it over my head at an angle. I had to take responsibility for my own mistake since the center of the bit was As long as you go straight in, however, I imagine everything will be fine.
In order to run a cable from one room to another, I used this bit to drill a hole from one room to the other. It made the job so much easier!.
The bit is sharp, does the job well, and has an attractive case to go along with it.
I was able to drill holes through an 8 inch beam with ease.
I like how it works.
