It had been dull for a while and had rough edges on its cutting edges. Once I sharpened the cutting and guiding edges, I was able to drill a hole in hard wood. A better auger drill can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot, which can be plugged into a socket or welded to a piece of pipe. I would not recommend this.
Welds between the shaft and eye are very professional, and there are no spots or holes to be found. It comes with a plastic tube for the tip, so I can store it and protect it while storing it, but I like the addition of the carry pouch because it allows me to store it easily without worrying about it scratching anything.
I have not had this product for very long, but so far I'm very pleased with it. There is a nice coat of protection on it that seems to make it very durable. On a wooden desk of mine (for cable management), I tried it and it worked like a charm. In addition to being extremely sharp, the tip managed to drive the drill down into the wood very easily. In addition, the order arrived earlier than expected!.
Several cracks can be seen in the top of the part and the welding is poor.
I received it just a few days ago and I am really satisfied with In addition to being extremely effective, it is also remarkably sturdy to use, even on harder materials like more challenging Having a carry case makes it easy to carry around. The case is of a good size and can be easily carried around. This is a 5 star rating for me overall.
Each and every household should have one so that a stove can be made from any kind of wood from any location.
I'm going to work with it, even though it could've been sharper.
