The following are the outside measurements: 753" (3/4") in width Height: 375mm (3/8"). The inside measurements are as follows: The "T" slot is 375 (3/8") wide. 567" wide by 9/16" thick X The inside slot is 129" (1/8") thick, with a thickness of. 3/16" thick, 188" long. I'm going to tell you how big the T-shirt is. I've worked as a machinist since 1976 and am extremely analytical. As a result, rather than being fractional, my dimensions are actual. I'm sure there's some variation or tolerance among the ones I have. the ones you might get; however, they appear to be very well machined, so I believe the dimensions will be within a few thousandths of an inch. For a perfect fit, I use 14" lag bolts with a small grind on two sides of the head. The screws with plastic thumb nuts that came with mine are a little loose, so I'm worried that tightening them enough to keep them in place will damage the groove. If you purchase 14-ounce bottles of wine, you will receive a 14-ounce bottle of wine It will be the strongest fit of anything I have tried so far if I use 20 lag bolts and grind about 1/16" from two opposing sides on the bolt head. I hope this information is useful to you.
I started with one 8 screw, but it was slightly too large, so I switched to 6 screws, which worked perfectly. Before screwing the track on, make sure you glue it to your project. Also, block the screw hole from the bottom with a small piece of tape to prevent the glue from rising into the track. I used blue painters tape and it worked beautifully.
I retract my previous response (I couldn't figure out how to edit it, so I re-posted). I purchased a new 3/4-inch router bit, which produces the ideal cutout size for these tracks. With just a light tap, the rail is fully seated. I figured out that the 3/4-inch router bit I was using before was defective because it was cutting about 1/32 too narrowly.
2021 24 - The intersection is made up of four pieces. Other than that, there are no extras.

The T- Apart from the color, the track is similar to all of the previous t-shirts. I've bought some tracks. There's also this: the pre- holes that have been drilled Contrary to popular belief, The hole sinking isn't good enough. The pre- The track's drilled holes should be able to hold an 8 wood screw, according to the manufacturer. That is not the case. Until I re-drilled it, it wouldn't even take a 6 wood screw. Every hole was countersunk after drilling with a countersink bit. Then I was able to use a 1/2 inch 6 to finish the job. PIA - However, because I had the bit, it wasn't a big deal to me. If you don't, you're going to be disappointed. beware. I'm hoping the 1/2 6 will hold up (I didn't glue it down), but it appears to be the case.
TT is simple to work with, and although it does not come with screws, I used 6 x 1" anyway! I didn't use any glue, but the screws seem to be holding up well.
"Perfectly easy perfectly crafted," according to the description, is far from the case. br>br>The angles cut into these to make the 4-pointed star br>br> The way intersections are at best dreadful. In the first picture, I added all four pieces to show how far apart the cuts are. There isn't one that is completely incorrect, but all four are slightly incorrect. The second photo shows a different set I purchased, which is significantly less accurate, so I may have struck it rich with this one. br>br>While the angle cuts aren't great, the two 36" bars are perfectly straight (I even rotated one 180 degrees to make sure they weren't both perfectly curved). br>br>Also, one of their images shows a total length of 6" and a measurement of 3" from the perpendicular piece to the end. Using math, however, it is clear that this is incorrect. It's more like 2 5/8" for the 3". They're 3" (give or take 1/64") to the center point. br>br>In the end, if I wanted nearly 45 degree angles, I would have purchased another long bar and cut it myself (saving money). These will work (I'll figure out how to make them work), but I'm not sure I'll buy any more intersection kits in the future. They paint/anodize these AFTER the cuts are made, so all of the surfaces are black, which I wouldn't get if I cut them myself. They also don't include screws. br>br> It does not state that they come with screws, but it also does not state that they do not.
For the money, this is a fantastic deal! Clear Style appears to be in control of their situation. I would have given 5 stars in every category if it weren't for the fact that not all of the pre-requisites were met. The drilled holes were of sufficient depth. The angles were perfect, the description was spot on, and the diagram in the photos was extremely helpful. Because you can't use an 8 screw in them, I marked down the sturdiness. Aside from that, everything appears to be fine. My 5/16 hold downs from another company work great and stay put in the router holes thanks to a tight fit. br>br>I will definitely purchase from Clear Style in the future!.
I've never purchased a t-shirt before. Despite this, I was not disappointed with these; they are well-made, and the inclusion of the cross section is a welcome addition. Because you won't have to drill the holes yourself, the predrilled holes are extremely useful. I'm only disappointed that 36 inches is the maximum length they offer; 48 inches would have been ideal. These t-shirts come highly recommended by me. Tracks, whether for jigs or workbenches, work well in both situations.
Hex bolts aren't compatible with these tracks. You'll have to redrill the holes or re-form the countersink if you want it to work. With t-shirts, it works fine. bolts. I'm not sure if the countersink is badly formed or if it's just an angle that doesn't exist in standard hardware, but I couldn't get any bolt to sit flush enough to use hex bolts. br>br>In addition, these are too flimsy to be mounted on the wall. It's less likely that you'll bend the tracks as you surface mount them with stiffer tracks. If you're going to surface mount these, you'll have to be very careful. It's difficult to keep these straight when they're combined with the hardware/countersink issue.
With two intersections, I now have both Rockler and Clear Style T Tracks in my bench, and it works perfectly! Using a 3/4" x 3/8" tall dado, fasten these with six screws. T bolts, 1/4" hex, and 5/16" hex all glide freely inside the track, requiring no fumbling or catching. br>I used them in my Festool MFT/3 table to work with rail clamps and stops, and they added an extra level of precision to an already precise setup! br>What a fantastic deal for the money! br>You won't be sorry you ordered this item. br>In fact, order at least one more set than you think you'll need because you'll find another use for it once you start using it!.
I wrote this to demonstrate how well a four-piece intersection fits together. Used to hold down clamps on a drill press.
