It was exactly what I needed to get T- I made a tabletop with tracks in it. You can also miter your own intersections, which is a little known fact. With a metal cutting blade and a file, I used three for the straight sections and a fourth for all the intersections; a little black sharpie and you won't be able to tell the difference, which is why I like the black t-shirt. track across the blue However, I believe that the intersections will be purchased next time because creating them took more time than I wanted to spend in the end. br>br>Fits 1/4 and 5/16 t-slots br>br> 1/4-inch track bolts and 1/4-inch track bolts It's fine with 20 bolts.
I am a POWERTEC customer, but my order was never delivered after I placed it. I came across these T-shirts while looking for something else. Tracks. At first, I was concerned because there were few reviews available. However, I was in desperate need of them and decided to take the risk. They turn out to be extremely well-made and compete directly with POWERTEC. Plus, they're a lot less expensive. When it comes to price, I suppose you're paying for the brand name in this case. The only drawback was that they didn't come with any screws, but considering the price difference, that isn't a big deal to me. Sorry, POWERTEC, but they will be getting my business in the future. When I build my work table, I'll buy more of them, as well as some T-shirts. Kits for putting tracks together. The only difference between these tracks and POWERTEC is the color and price; if you don't mind that they're black rather than blue and you're looking for a good deal, I highly recommend them.
This is a STRONG pair of shoes. I've never used the Rockler track system, so I can't comment on how they compare in terms of quality or price; all I know is that they're a good deal. Rockler charges $30 for a 4-foot track. The total cost of all four of these was $50. To me, they appear to be of excellent quality. Bolts with a diameter of 1/4" appear to be sufficient. I need to conduct more tests. They didn't come with screws, but they made that clear in the description, so you can't really complain. It specifies the use of a flat head 7 5/8-inch drill bit. I ordered a pack of 100 screws from Amazon for about $6 because I couldn't find them in a Home Depot in a pack larger than 5 pcs. That seems like a good deal to me. I do not know if they are going to work, so I will update if they do not do not do not do not do not do not do not do not do not.
There was no damage to the product because it was double boxed. The finish was uniform, and the length was exactly as specified. , and they were both 48" in length. These were the very first t-shirts, so they were special. I can't comment on the quality of the other tracks because I haven't purchased them, but I'm pleased with mine. The only minor issue is that due to the thickness of the head, the provided bolts do not slide easily. I swapped them out for some ten-dollar bills. There are 24 flat head bolts in total, and they slide much more smoothly.
In my photos, you can see black tracks that I used in a crosscut sled. They worked and performed as well as all the other name brands, but at a lower cost. But be sure to look around because t-shirts aren't easy to come by. Every now and then, a track appears to be on sale.
However, garbage is not acceptable. I just got my four-pack of 48" tracks in the mail. It was well-packaged and in good condition when it arrived. The most serious flaw, and the reason for the three stars, is that it is slightly wider than the advertised 3/4" width. My assumption is that the powder coating thickness was not taken into account by the manufacturer. which is, by the way, of excellent quality. Trying to beat this stuff into the 3/4" mortise I routed, I nearly broke the melamine table on my drill press. The edges of the table were bent downward when I finally got it into the mortise. br>br>For now, I'll just make another router pass. However, I've placed an order for a 25/32" router bit to use on this track in the future. I only need one of the 48"ers today, but I'll be using the larger piece in the future. I couldn't decide whether to give this review three or four stars. I chose number three because I believe that manufacturers should consider these issues from the beginning rather than leaving it to us to figure out. I'll come back and let you know if it's the right size for this track once I get that bit and give it a try.
Making a crosscut table saw sled out of these. Good build quality, and I like the powder coating for long-term use. long-term security However, I believe that the powder coating adds enough width to the track that the 3/4 inch straight router bit used to make a dado slot for it was too narrow/tight. To get it to fit perfectly, I had to use the table saw to remove an extra sliver. Overall, I'm pleased with the product and would purchase it again if I needed to make more woodworking sleds or jigs.
Nonetheless, it is a good product. Okay, I'm not writing this as a negative review; the pieces are exactly as described and appear to be well machined. Just keep this in mind: br>br>NOT FOUR INTERSECTIONS IN THIS PACKAGE. It's made up of FOUR pieces that come together to form ONE intersection when attached to a table. It's not like Rockler and Powertec aren't offering the same four pieces to make ONE intersection. However, if you were expecting FOUR "intersections," you will be disappointed. br>br>Once again, the pieces are well-made, and this is how the higher-priced guys package the intersections, so this is a good deal.
