Is it possible to use these to polish granite countertops?

I don't see why not, but 3" sanding discs would cover an awful lot of ground. Repairing a table top with a block sander and traditional sheet sanding paper is a better option.

Yes. It's a fantastic wet/dry sandpaper; in fact, I'd say it's on par with 3M paper.

For the money, it's a good value

Because of the higher grit range, I purchased these. The money spent on the paper was well spent. I prefer these to the cheaper versions, which use the same color paper throughout. I've tried both and found that the latter lasts longer. The main reason I bought it was to restore the headlights.

These are ideal for restoring the appearance of headlights. I'm skeptical of the grit numbers, but that's beside the point. The 7000 is smooth enough to polish or apply UV clear coat over. On my pneumatic DA orbital, the hook and loop adheres to the cousioned pad. I didn't use the drill arbor that came with the kit because I didn't need it.
