Even though all the reviews were out of balance, I nearly did not buy. It was a 150 grit wheel that I purchased. This was the first time I'd balanced a wheel, so I had no idea of this As part of the package, you received detailed instructions on how to tame up the thing, as well as get it balanced for a quiet ride. When it was first put on, it wobbled a little. However, after 10 minutes of trial and error, I was able to get the right result. There was no issue and everything is fine now. In my experience, getting this wheel adjusted is a very simple process, and it is a good wheel, but perhaps too expensive for what it is now compared to what it used to cost. It came double packed in air envelopes and was in perfect condition when it arrived. many reviews on this wheel report trouble installing and getting it to run true, let me describe the steps I took to mount and truing mine.
After taking off the old wheel, I cleaned the shaft and cups. The removal of rust, slag, and the like. My option is to either try and true it with a diamond grinding wheel (messy) or to just toss it in the junk bin. That was a waste of time. It was disappointing to receive two such letters. The arbor was badly out of balance and they were both badly out of balance.
