Questions & Answers

Is there a solid bottom on this bag?

That's correct. It serves as a range bag for me. It can hold guns, ammo, and clips with ease. For the money, this is a fantastic deal.

L18. 00*H9. 50*W8. 50 Inch

Is it durable enough to be used on a regular basis at work? How thick or thin is the material? Do the zippers appear to be of good quality?

Zippers that are well-made and durable. STILL . I'm looking for a replacement for my favorite CLC custom leather craft bag, which is no longer available.

Is this bag made of water-resistant materials?

No, it's not completely waterproof; however, if it gets wet, it'll dry quickly because it's made of canvas.

It's not a problem to carry 60 pounds of tools
5/5

It is something I use on a daily basis. I work in maintenance and have to carry over 60 pounds of tools all over the place, so it's a lot more than I expected for the money.

After ten weeks of sporadic use, the seam began to rip
3/5

I thought it was a good deal at first, but the quality turned out to be quite poor. The seam that connects the material to the zipper has popped, and it will most likely continue to rip until the bag is unusable. I expected it to last longer than a few months, despite its low price. I only use the bag for household projects and not for professional use.

Most technicians and weekend warriors will be able to fit comfortably in this space
5/5

Background: **18" Model Review*
I work as an IT administrator, but I also live on an old llama farm with barns, sheds, a guest house, electric fence, greenhouse, automatic gates, security system, and other handyman projects. Every weekend, I'm working on some aspect of the property. At work, I prefer to run my own wire and networking hardware, so I keep this tool bag with me all the time. br>br>I get a funny look sometimes because I'm the computer guy with a big tool bag, but it comes in handy all the time. br>I keep the following items in this bag: (1) Knipex pliers (needle pliers) (2) Klein wire strippers (2 sizes)br>(3) Side cuttersbr>(4) Porter Cable Brushless 20V impact driverbr>(5) Klein 25' fish tapebr>(6) Philips 1, Philips 2, 2 sizes flathead, 6-piece flathead set 8-inch nut driver, 32-inch nut driver Small Irwin Adjustable Wrench, (6) RJ45/RJ11 crimp tool, (7) LCD Nails tube, (10) Dow Corning Silicone tube, (11) 2 3/4 wide, 6 feet long, 1 12 in x 11 4,5 in. #14 Bosch impact ready drill bit set with #14 bit guard. br>I can also fit my Porter Cable 20V drill and Porter Cable 20V oscillating tool in the bag, but I won't be able to zip it once they're in. br>br>I've had this bag for at least 6 months and can't say enough good things about it. However, I do not abuse the bag. I take it to work and home every day, so it's either in my car, on the office floor, or wherever I'm working on a project. Advantages: br>br> (1) It's big, but it's still manageable. If your tools don't fit in here, you'll need to invest in one of those tough rolling cases. (2) Long-lasting. br> Stitching at least twice, and possibly more if necessary. (3) Nice Velcro on the handlebr>(4) Good internal pocketsbr>(5) Sturdy metal frame keeps it in shapebr>Cons: (1) I would like the external pockets to be deeper and more reinforced. Checking them to ensure nothing has fallen out gives me anxiety. Metal tools and pliers work fine, but bags of screws and other loose items tend to fall out. (2) I would have preferred a 3 inch deeper bag for my application, which is around the house/farm/server room. Then I'd be able to use my drill, driver, and oscillating tool while still being able to zip it. I could also use a sawzaw or an impact wrench to fix it. br>br>Conclusion: br>br>
This might not be the best bag for a professional who will use it every day and stuff it to the brim, but if you are anything less than that like me, When people see how I've set it up in person, they've told me how much they like it.

There's enough room for a lot of tools, but the sides could be a little taller
4/5

I've had this bag for three weeks and it comfortably holds my Earnst socket rails, as well as plenty of pliers, small Milwaukee power tools, a 6-foot magnetic tray, and my Jaeger ratcheting wrenches on top of everything else and still zips. Overall, I'm happy with it, but I wish it had higher sides so that I could use longer pliers while still being able to zip it up.

For light duty use, this is an excellent value
5/5

This bag was purchased for a very specific reason: I work in IT and needed a bag to carry all of my zip ties, serial cables, network cables, cable testers, toner, and other miscellaneous items. in. and it serves that purpose admirably without breaking the bank. It has six interior pockets (three on each side) where I keep my LAN tester, Velcro zip ties, and other small items. I keep some smaller objects (as long as they don't stick out) or things in baggies in the six larger pockets on the outside. It has single stitching throughout, as well as small rubber feet on the bottom and a functional zipper. I usually only bring this around once a week, and when I don't, it either stays in the office or goes to another tech. My favorite feature is the metal frame sewn into the top, which allows the bag to stay open when opened, hence the "wide mouth" part of the description. br>br>For my purposes, I believe it is a good value; however, if I were to carry it around with me all the time, or if I worked in a profession that required constant tool transportation (think plumber, carpenter, installer, etc. ), I believe it would be a poor value. ) I'd look for a bag that could withstand more abuse. This has single stitching all the way around, and I can see the corners wearing out if it's used a lot. Furthermore, all of the pockets are devoid of any kind of elastic, allowing everything to float freely within them. A cover is present in only one of the outside pockets. If it was slung over a shoulder quickly, I could see larger tools flying everywhere. My tool bags for the house are a lot tougher. Take a close look at how you're using it.

This tool bag is outstanding
4/5

This bag was purchased to replace my old, worn-out tool bag, which was too small. As an engineer who occasionally needs to troubleshoot devices on the factory floor, I prefer to keep my own tools close by so that I don't have to rely on the technician's. This bag does an excellent job of performing this function. The material appears to be sturdy, and the zipper appears to be long-lasting. Interior pockets on both ends, in addition to the interior sidewall pockets that are already present, would be a couple of improvements that would be nice to see in the future. Side walls are 2 inches taller. 3 inches would have been nice as well, to allow for tools in the interior pockets to not obstruct items in the middle when the bag is zipped up.
