That is an excellent query! The Mfg. - according to the site Cordura® fabric is used to make this jacket. Abrasion-resistant, tear-resistant, and scuff-resistant performance material. For maximum concealment, it has a digitized jungle stalker camouflage pattern. Heavy- The heavy-duty nylon stitching and zipper ensure durability and long life, and the convenient storage for tools and spare parts adds to the convenience. INVISTA's Cordura® brand of durable fabrics is a registered trademark. The 500d and 1000d are not mentioned. However, it's made of Cordura®. br>I hope that this information is useful. We have a supply on hand.
I'm not sure how heavy the material is, but you can see it up close and personal at any Home Depot.
My Klein bag is made of leather, but based on the meticulous craftsmanship, I'm guessing the corduroy bag is made similarly. I use mine to carry my diabetes supplies, so it contains a variety of small items and is constantly used. I'm confident I'll be able to "play" with it.
This bag comes in an all-leather version with a high-quality solid brass zipper. Klein, hopefully, will use the same brass zipper in all of their tool bags.

At least ten Cordura Klein bags are in my possession. That isn't the case with this one. It's a good bag, but not for the price, especially since you're paying for the Klein name, when you could get a better deal by buying one of the Cordura bags. One of those slight-of-hand statements is used in this bag. It's made in the United States of America with American parts. Materials from another country. It's a good-looking tote. However, I purchased it because I thought it would be cool if it were made of Cordura. It has a nylon-like feel to it. It was supposed to be a replacement for the white Klein Cordura bag that I had. I'm sure it'd melt if my hot soldering iron touched it, but at half the price, it'd be a good buy. Be careful who you buy from.
I bought these as Christmas gifts while they were still available at a reasonable price, so they'll be gifts. I'm also giving a few of these to First Responders, as one of my family members is currently fighting a large forest fire, and they'll be useful to them as well.
I have used them for a while, I have my wire and cable stuff, which is 90% Klein, and some of it I have had for almost 40 years in one% I have another one where I'll keep my Klein DMM and the leads so they're all together. I had no idea they had started offering one until my yellow one broke after a long and hard life, and I needed something at a reasonable price, so I checked Amazon and found one. br>I may be retired, but keeping my equipment organized is still important, and these bags like Klein Tools will outlast me. These bags are made in the United States and are of high quality.
just a little bit better Klein 5139 canvas bags have always been a favorite of mine for storing and transporting tools. I've had a few gripes about them in the past, and Klein appears to have addressed each one with this bag. This camo bag has a better zipper. Because it's made of plastic, it's not as durable as brass. However, it appears to be strong enough and functions well. This camo bag's material is superior. All of those canvas bags will eventually develop wear spots as a result of tools. With this bag, I have a feeling it won't be as simple. Unlike the white canvas, this bag will not show dirt. The dingy, filthy canvas bag may make me appear unprofessional depending on the job. I believe the camo will make the bag look much better in a few months. This is one of the best choices I've ever made.
The zipper ripped off and could not be repaired because it was very thin and poorly constructed. The Klien bag, which is padded, is far superior.
I use it to carry my small tools like screwdrivers, pry tools, etc. Klein is top notch, and this bag is no exception. I use it to carry my small tools for repairing computers and cellphones, such as screwdrivers and pry tools, and it works great. It takes a lot of abuse and still looks great. The material has a better feel to it than regular canvas, in my opinion. The zipper is easy to open and close. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a toolbag for small tools or parts to get this one. This is one of my favorite purchases that I use on a daily basis.
Stretches and conforms well, and is of excellent quality. I would strongly suggest it.
Although it's designed to hold tools, it's ideal for my Middle Schooler's pencils and art supplies. It's perfect for him. It's also tough and seems to be able to withstand a lot of abuse.
