DEWALT DGL523 Lighted Tool Backpack Bag, 57-Pockets

I am able to provide service for 6 to 8 customers per day for 13 straight days during the summer. During its short lifespan, this product lasted a little less than six weeks. The zipper broke on this bag even though it started out as a great bag. In addition to light HVAC tools, clothes, and lunch, the bag served as an everyday bag for tradesmen. I do not think this should cost this much money to have the zipper fail. It is only possible to close the bag halfway, thanks to a malfunctioning zipper. This bag was purchased in May, it is now July, and one of the main zipper sliders has broken off. The double sliders allow me to close the zipper with the good one while wearing it. My disappointment is that the pockets and size of the bag were very appealing to me. seems rugged and light, but when it is raining, it is not so good. It had gotten ruined when I had papers in the front zipper pocket. In my 30 years of working in the field, I put this bag as one of the worst that I have used. When you go with a brand name like Dewalt, you think it is going to last a long time. As I enter the later stages of my life, I am no longer required to constantly use my tools as I was in the earlier stages. Choosing another brand is a better option.

When the zippers broke, it was too late. As I first began using the backpack, I was amazed at its capacity. It had lots of space for my tools, and each had a pocket or slot. My entire need for everything was right there on the ground level, which was great. nothing more than a gimmick, as I used it maybe twice. After about 4 months of use, the zipper track on the main compartment started disintegrating in a couple places, and the bag could no longer be closed. A piece of trash costing $80 is now in my possession. With all the engineering that went into the design, you'd think they would have spent a little more money on a better zipper, but they didn't.
