Questions & Answers
There is no coating on the bottom to keep it from getting wet. The sides are made of the same material. It does, however, have four feet that would raise it about a quarter inch.
I don't have the bag in front of me right now so I can't tell you who made it, but it's of excellent quality.
Without the height of the handle, the dimensions are 12" by 12" by 10".
Yes, two of those tough cases should fit side by side, but the yellow plastic box works just fine.

I like Dewalt products in general, and this one is no exception. br>br>I've read some reviews where people complain about how inconvenient it is to carry using the shoulder strap, especially when carrying a lot of weight. I can't blame the product for this because it's up to the owner to decide how much weight is appropriate. I'll admit that the carrier's shape didn't appeal to me as a shoulder carry device, and the shoulder strap isn't particularly comfortable. It will work this way in a pinch, but I prefer to use it as a hand-carry tote by removing the shoulder strap. Keep in mind that if you're looking for a tool carrier to carry on your shoulder, I wouldn't recommend this one. br>br>The small organization box that comes with it is flimsy and unusable. If you're wealthy enough, I suggest launching it into space rather than allowing it to pollute the ocean. It needs to be replaced right away. br>br>I really like the carrier's overall setup. It allows for a large number of tools to be included. I have a few pairs of pliers that are about 9 inches long. This product has a few slots for those that are 10 inches long. If you have longer hand tools, you should get a tote with a more rectangular shape, as this one is vaguely shaped like a cube and may not fit your needs if you have very large tools. br>br>It appears to be a medium-sized project to me. The bottom of the device has some good rubber feet, but it's not something you'd want to leave in a puddle. If you treat it gently, it will last a long time; however, if you expect heavy-duty performance, I believe you will be disappointed.
The parts tray is usually hidden inside a separate, zippered compartment, as described in the description. Above that, they show the screwdriver bits. That's why I bought it in the first place. Instead, there were no places for screwdriver bits, and the parts tray took up too much space at the end. I'm not sure if they changed it because there are pictures of two different products that contradict each other. If you go to the product page on Dewalt's website, you won't see a picture until you claim ownership. Then there's the image with the tray underneath it, which isn't what I got. DISAPPOINTED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT!.
It was a great investment. It gets the job done. It has plenty of room for everything I need and is extremely durable. It goes with me wherever I go on the job site and easily fits into a gangbox. br>Got some velcro straps at Home Depot to hang on my lift's rails. Everything is at the tip of my fingers. The purchase was a great success. I would recommend it to anyone working in the construction industry.
I have a lot of tools and a garage to store them in. However, I've discovered that whenever I have a project going on around the house, it's almost never in the garage. I'd grab what I needed and fumble my way over to my desk. I was fed up with it and decided to purchase this bag. It has been a fantastic experience. I keep everything I need in it, and when I need to get something done, I simply grab the bag. It speeds up prep and cleanup, and I don't have to worry about dropping a drill on the wood or granite floor as I fumble my way back to the garage with an armload of stuff. The fact that the bag isn't floppy is one of my favorite features of it. It's stiff enough to support itself. The reinforced handle is also something I appreciate. It is more comfortable to carry than a nylon strap when carrying a loaded bag. Only a few shallow, skinny pockets for short items such as drill bits are missing. I have hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measures, a small level, Allen wrenches, five types of pliers, two drills, two sets of drill bits, concrete bits, several boxes of screws, and more in this bag, which is very easy to organize.
The toolbag is very nice. When fully loaded, it can be a little heavy, but the shoulder strap helps to lighten the load. I had a "throw-away" bag with me. all- I ended up emptying the entire contents of my "in" type tool bag in order to locate the one tool I needed. This toolbag's pouches and pockets help to keep things organized. It's far more efficient to find the right tool at a glance. The plastic organizer box comes in handy as well. There's no need to stuff wire nuts into electrical tape cases made of plastic. Kons, as well as other hardware, are no longer available. When the need arises, there is also plenty of room for power tools.
I'm an electrician who primarily works in large apartment buildings where having the right tool on hand at all times is critical; this tool carrier keeps everything in one place and can hold a lot of weight. After reading some reviews that stated the rivets were coming out under excessive weight, I was a little hesitant to purchase this. Perhaps those particular bags had manufacturing flaws, but mine has held up admirably. I use Dewalt flexvolt batteries, and anyone who has used them knows that the tool to which they are connected is quite heavy. br>br>For the time being, I'll give it a five-star rating and will update if anything changes, but I strongly recommend this product. br>br>UPDATE: It became uncomfortably heavy. The shoulder pad is a dreadful piece of equipment. I got rid of it and replaced it with a regular Dewalt toolbag. If you're going to fill it, you might as well use a rolling bag.
I learned about this bag from an electrician's YouTube video. I'm trying to reduce the size of my tool bags, and this one has a good mix of pockets, open areas in the middle for larger items, and a pouch for my notepads. I have three Dewalt Deep Pro Small Parts Organizers for plumbing, electrical, and fasteners, so I took out the plastic bin for parts and stored my multimeter, a small kit of drill bits, and impact attachments in the big side pouch. Finally, it includes a loop for my electrician's tape as well as a bracket for my tape measure.
I was looking for a tool carrying bag that was exactly what I needed. I'm sure there are other brands with comparable quality for a lower price, but I liked the shape and my other De Walt purchases, so I chose this one. I purchased it to use around the house for small projects and repairs.
