When I first saw these, I thought they were fantastic. When I got a chance to inspect them, I was surprised they weren't made better, especially since they were labeled as Dewalt. I purchased these two to replace my toughbuilt zipper bags/sleeves that I use to keep my tool manuals organized. I hate to say it, but the toughbuilt are far superior in terms of quality. A piece of the top loop material appeared to be hanging off one of the Dewalt zipper bags. Cut them out for a quick fix. It bothered me because it was supposed to be a good bag. These have a weak and cheap overall feel to them. If you don't need the Dewalt name on the side of the bag, toughbuilt is a better option.
You can save money by using a plastic ziplock bag. Dewalt is a great brand, but these bags aren't Dewalt Tough. This is a complete waste of money. They'll come crashing down.
After a month of use, one of the bags' zippers broke.
With my 10-piece set from Lowes, I originally received two bags. It had been a year since then. My cats have clawed those bags on a regular basis up to this point. I also bought two battery bags from Amazon, as well as another set of batteries and a charger. Our cats have clawed their way through them all but have yet to tear them apart! Because everything we've used before gets punctured and eventually falls apart, I bought these to hold my watch repair tools. br>br>I packed my belongings in this bag and dropped the kit while transferring it. On the inside of the bag, there isn't even a scratch. All of these bags are of excellent quality and workmanship. These are extremely durable and long-lasting; we only wish the zippers were easier to access. Because those pesky little tabs always seem to vanish into the bag, I have to leave the zipper slightly ajar. This bothers us because, quite frankly, bugs can get in. br>br>I like how each bag has a DeWalt logo on it, and the color matches my tools. I wish I could have my initials embroidered on each bag. I despise using a dye marker, but it helps me avoid picking up the wrong bag on a job site, especially since I always keep my tools in excellent condition and they've lasted decades. I hope you find this information useful.
Until you reach the plastic site area at the bottom, the bags are of good quality. That plastic site view serves no purpose other than to reduce the bag's value and shorten its lifespan. br>If I had known there was plastic at the bottom, I would have purchased a lower-cost, higher-quality item.
I bring a lot of goodies with me when I travel. So that I can quickly pack and go, I have medicines in one bag and miscellaneous electronic support cables in the other. So far, the bags appear to be very durable, and the zippers appear to be very strong.
A DeWalt cordless gyroscopic screwdriver was recently purchased by me. By the way, it's a fantastic tool. It's almost unbelievable. It did not, however, come with a storage bag, unlike many DeWalt tools. You've got the tool, the battery, and the charger - now what? not to mention bits and/or extensions for the drivers - I needed a place to keep everything in one place. One of these small zipper bags would be ideal, and I'm picky enough to want the DeWalt logo on the bag where my DeWalt tool is stored. Isn't it likely that they were aware of this? It's a fantastic buy because it's a great value and lasts a long time.
The bags appear to be in good condition. They're well-made and come in handy for small items. I use one to store drill driver bits and accessories, and I keep this smaller bag inside the DeWalt tool bag that houses my cordless drill and impact driver, which is 13 inches long.
