It's the perfect size for my corded "saws. " "everything" and "skill saw," to name a few. Both are the ideal size. There are plenty of pockets for manuals and personal protective equipment. Hardcore contractors may find it a little too light duty, but weekend warriors will love it. I would have preferred a shoulder strap, but I was aware that it did not come with one when I purchased it. If I run into any problems in the future, I'll post an update.
My honest assessment of the bag is that I've seen bags made of thicker materials. I bought the bag to go with a Dewalt 71/4 Worm Drive corded saw. br>The saw would easily fit in the bag if it didn't have a cord; however, with the cord, it's a tight fit. br>I would have bought the 20v battery model if it hadn't been so expensive. br>With the batteries and charger, the battery model would fit nicely in this bag.
made! The quality of this bag is outstanding. made. I assumed it had deep pockets for storage based on the reviews, but it doesn't. It has a tiny pocket on the inside. Although it isn't large enough to store your blades, it could be used to store an instruction booklet. I loaded it up with my Dewalt reciprocating saw as well as all of my blades. It was extremely comfortable to wear. All of the seams appear to be evenly sewn, and the stitching is firm. I believe the bag will last a long time, and I would recommend it to others.
I recently bought a Dewalt tool set that included a drill/driver combo, batteries, and a bag, plus two additional tools for free. Great deal, but after purchasing the bits, blades, and wheels for all of the tools, I found that I couldn't fit everything in the bag that came with it. This was the solution to the problem. An angle grinder, rip saw, drill, driver, batteries, charge, and a variety of accessories can all be easily stored in this bag.
I have an 18v set that can handle everything. It's on the inside, zipped up. a flexable flashlight, a circular saw, a reciprocating saw, an impact wrench, and a drill! I can't believe this bag could fit everything in it and still close! I strongly suggest it.
This, like most Dewalt products, is a piece of high-quality craftsmanship. It not only protects what's inside, but it also protects the outside world from being dinged or damaged by what rattles around inside the bag.
My DEWALT 611 router and plunger were in desperate need of a bag. Despite the fact that I measured the tools, the bag is bigger than I expected. Not only will I be able to store the tools, but also the router bits and other accessories. br>br>The bag has a nice thickness to it, similar to other DEWALT bags, with thick bottom supports to keep the fabric off the floor. br>br>For added support, the fabric handles are sewn into the bag's fabric with what appear to be grommets. br>br>Pockets on the inside and outside.
br>I bought this to replace the small bag that came with my single cordless drill. Since then, my collection of Dewalt cordless tools has exploded. If you don't mind stacking, I can put my drill, impact driver, and 6" circular saw with all of the accessories, batteries, and charger, as well as my cordless reciprocal saw. br>Both the interior and exterior pockets are large enough to accommodate all of my drill and driver sets.
