FYI: 13" x 3" is the size of this Bucket Boss 69000. The answer isn't 14", as the other answers suggest. Is it possible that it was once larger? I'm not sure what I'm saying. I've had one for about a year and just recently purchased several more to give as gifts this year. They're all 13" in diameter and 3" thick. When you get a new Bucket Boss 69000, it comes with a tag attached to one of the handles that lists the dimensions. To avoid any confusion, I've included several images with my review of these bags, including one with a ruler laid across it as well as a shot of the tag so you can see/read it for yourself. You can see them by clicking on the "Customer images" thumbnails on the right side of this page. br>I have no idea what size the 69009 is, and I can't seem to find one with that number on Amazon or anywhere else. There is a Bucket Boss 06009 that is still available on Amazon (not Prime eligible) and a few other sites, but it is reportedly 3" thick and has been discontinued, just like this one.
I'm not sure how big the roll of Romex is, but the bag is 14" in diameter and 3" deep.
Canvas is used to make the case. I don't know because I only have jumper cables in it and no liquid.
Because the bag is canvas, it will not react like acid, as in "leak through like acid." "However, an acid will leak from the bag." Acids have the ability to pass through almost any barrier.

These Bucket Boss bags are tough and can hold a lot more cables than they appear to hold at first glance. I've had one of these 69000 bags for over a year and it's still going strong after being overstuffed and bounced around in my toolbox and truck bed. I'm only now getting around to writing a review because I recently purchased several more to give as gifts during the holidays. br>br>The largest set of jumper cables I'd recommend using this bag for is 25' x 2awg, and even then, you'll need to be a little organized and patient to get them to coil in and zip up, especially if they're cold. When they're cold, they're a little stiffer than when they're warm. If you have larger gauge or longer cables, or simply want a slightly larger bag to make stowing your cables easier, I highly recommend the.
This is EXTREMELY OVER-EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTRE bag that has been engineered I had previously purchased three other brands, all of which were cheap and flimsy. br>WHERE CAN I FIND ONE LIKE THIS? It was a cable advertisement. This could be used to transport a variety of dangerous and sharp cables. It could even hold chain saw blades. br> br>Large nylon straps and heavy canvas. I've got a 100-foot RG58 cable (camping TV hookup) in there and plenty of room for more. br>Take it seriously. I've bought four or five different brands of "Ruggedized!" " bags, which were not the case. This bad boy has a nice personality.
I purchased two, and they are not only reasonably priced but also well-made. They can accommodate a 20-foot 4-gauge cable without being too tight. I strongly advise you to purchase them. I give it 5 out of 5 stars! br>br>Here's something to think about. Because the majority of jumper cables on the market today are copper clad aluminum, you should purchase all copper jumper cables. When using longer jumper cables or jumping diesel trucks, all copper cable is a much better conductor.
I prefer longer cables that run the length of the vehicle to avoid having to turn a vehicle in the wrong direction on the highway. As a result, a tangled mess is a distinct possibility. I purchased two of these, one for heavy-duty jumper cables and the other for towing cables. They appear to be very sturdy and well made, including the zipper (though I haven't had them long enough to see how they will hold up). The front pocket is particularly appealing to me. I thoroughly examined this bag after receiving it to ensure that it was well-constructed. strong enough to secure my high-amperage, heavy-duty cables I cleaned the blue cables with some leftover auto cleaner and a fresh set of green nylon kitchen scouring pads, then stretched them out to dry by clamping each end to the fence. I then applied a small amount of auto wax to make them easier to handle. It thoroughly cleaned them and made managing them much easier. I neatly rolled them up and placed them in the new 69000 Cable Bag after two hours. br>Would highly recommend this bag as the best I've ever owned.
The jumper cables are 25 feet long and 2 gauge. The bag is sturdy and well-made. The material appears to be sturdy, the stitching appears to be robust, and the zipper appears to be robust while still operating smoothly. It comfortably fits my 20' tow strap and holds the 25' 2 gauge jumper cables that I purchased it for, helping to keep the back cabin a little more organized. I'd love for a bag that was an inch and a half or two smaller in diameter so that it could still hold the cables but also fit inside one of the two 16 quart milk crates I keep my tools, fluids, and emergency items in without having to compress the bag any, but I knew the size of this bag and the size of my milk crates before I bought it, so it wouldn't be fair to dock any stars for this.
