Taking a look at this initial draft! I've taken the time to review the torque wrench I purchased
4/5

Since I work for a dealership, I do a lot of tire rotations, brake work, etc. I have tried a variety of torque wrenches, both tool truck torque wrenches and torque wrenches purchased from big box stores. I decided to purchase this one and yes, I've never heard of this brand before, but it seems like it'll work well for me. As for the torque wrench, I received it today and I had to wonder if it was a good quality product or not. In about two hours, I torqued and checked different settings and found that with ease the torque adjustment locks ninety-five percent of the time. Some of the time, the lock did not fully lock and it was not tight. In the future I will use it more to give a more thorough review, but this is an It seems like a really cheap lock, so I am concerned, but only time will tell what will happen. The instrument comes with a certificate of calibration that includes a serial number, but I am not sure whether this is legitimate There are a few things you should be aware While it is made in China, it is calibrated here in the states, right? Furthermore, it is twenty years old. My iron fingers are only 5 inches long so I'm not sure if I will have any problems torquing 150 pounds of torque on heavy duty trucks and most of the day I will be doing this sort of work. In my review, I will describe how I will use this product at work.

As I see it, "Meh" is a good answer
3/5

A new torque wrench is something I was looking forward to getting. I like the fact that it works right out of the box. The shortcomings of this particular tool became apparent once I started actually using it to work on my car. Hence, I no longer consider myself Let's look at the pro's first This is a very handy feature that makes reading and setting torque values very easy. A comfortable and easy-to-grip handle makes this tool easy to use. In addition, when it clicks, the pull has a noticeable give to it. This is a long, powerful driver that can give a lot of torque easily when the torque settings are high. may be more of an issue at lower settings due to the potential for overdosing When torqueing a fastener at a lower setting, be careful. On the lower range, I snapped off the head of a fastener. It was close enough to do government work when I tested the calibration with the luggage scale method, which is generally considered good enough for government In the end, there are some There is no way this thing can get into There is too much fat on the head and the neck. It has been found that most click-type torque wrenches taper off above the handle, so that the head and neck are relatively thin above the handle, making them more flexible for use in tight places. The one you're looking for is not Up to the head, the shaft and the head are the same in shape and diameter. There are thick hairs on the head too! As a result, instead of the small thumb lever that would normally operate it to reverse, there is an enormous slab of metal sticking out in its place The head is thick. It also only has 45 teeth, which means you can only swing it 8 degrees, which is inconvenient for working in tight spaces since you have to move the wrench a great deal farther before you can swing it When combined with the extra thickness of everything on this wrench, it becomes The following measurements can be found here A diameter of 22 is found in both the shaft and the neck. This head is 3 mm
The square drive, with no switch or switch square, is 20 mm
. I think the switch is about 9mm thick
I think it sticks out about 4mm more. The head is 6mm above the level of the hand. The distance between the drive square and the edge of the head is almost 25mm, not including the drive square. There's barely a difference between those two. You can add the socket to it, but that makes it pretty useless at close range. How likely would I be to recommend this to someone? There is no. It actually turned out that I regret getting it after using it for one big auto repair job. After having it for just over a month, I have already purchased its replacement from another brand.

[EDIT]
I also tested it against a Snap On torque wrench that was freshly calibrated, and it was fairly.

Money is a precious resource don't waste it! Although the torque wrench comes in a nice plastic case and looks good, that is where the similarities end
3/5

The torque wrench was purchased so I could torque a harmonic balancer bolt to 240 FT LBS. I removed the plastic wrap from the hard shell case, removed the torque wrench, and set the torque to 240 FT Lbs after removing the plastic wrap. As a result, the green handle became stuck to the lock that you push in, and I was no longer able to move it or adjust it This caused the machine to seize up and become stuck. No matter how hard I tried, I could not get it free. The pros include The pictures do not do it justicebr>
Cons It's very cheaply made, although it looks nice on the pictures, but don't waste your money on it! It has a plastic knob at the bottom for turning the torque gears

I found that this torque wrench was the best for the money
5/5

In the past two years, I've tried five different brands of 1/2" Torque Wrenches off Amazon and every one of them has a problem. I'm glad to say I've finally found a product that works. It works flawlessly and has a very nice design. My computer arrived yesterday and I started working with it immediately. This product worked perfectly for all of my uses yesterday. I tried it on different foot lbs and it didn't fail me like others did. The length is just right and very sturdy. I love the locking handle design and it doesn't feel cheap like others. A fantastic indicator for the Ft Lbs, easily readable, accurate, and very easy to read. Especially considering that it comes with a lifetime warranty, this torque wrench is the best value for the money.

The product seems to be well constructed
5/5

I use a Craftsman 10 and I love it I suffered a breakage of my 150 Ft Lb torque wrench (1 year warranty) after only 2 years of light usage. I checked and tightened torque on the bolts of my 5th Wheel's custom pin box on average once a month while on the road. Despite looking well made, the ratcheting mechanism relied on a screw too small in diameter in the head in order for it to work. In addition, the head was damaged because it snapped, resulting in the rest of the parts falling The screw end had become irretrievably embedded in the mechanism, such that it could not be extracted. However, even though I've only had to use the eTorque C3250 once, I'm happy to note that the ratcheting system appears to be better constructed I'll update this review if I experience problems during my use of it The lifetime warranty I purchased is not a guarantee I will make use of at this time.
