Questions & Answers

People are surprised when a 3/8" breaker bar snaps while attempting to loosen lug nuts. Hello. Is it not a known fact that 1/2 inch wide??

100%! A 3/8" bolt has medium sized and medium torque. A 1/2" screwdriver is a must. The best drive size to work with, depending on the shank of the bolt, is an approximately two inch drive length or greater.

The head I'm using should be replaced. Is a lug nut snapped when I take it off??

If you screw on a lug nut, do not push the drive through the 3/8 inch slot. You need a drive with at least a 1/2 inch angle.

How does it contain case?

He is Nate from Tekton, Massachusetts. You will not be able to carry this breakers bar without a case.

Would liftetime be liable for the product backed by liftetime warranty?

However, it is heavy duty! Does this item not carry a lifetime warranty?? The drive will not last you for life. The version I own is the 40 1/2 by 3/4 inch one, which does a quick job of fixing the large lug nuts found on my RV.

In the event I were in your shoes, give it 0 stars
3/5

My breaker bar arrived today, so I plan to complete a project by Friday so I can ship the equipment later this week. When I removed bolts, I needed a breaker bar. I was trying to break them loose 2 minutes in when it snapped. What a waste of money to waste money! Make sure to avoid buying this product since it appears to be very cheap. I hope to find another project soon as I now have one behind me.

The last time was when it was my age
5/5

Hopefully it will be before they get busy. My setup has both a quarter drive and a half drive in 2/5. It has been said that removing bolt on your car or truck is very challenging. You can remove everything from all items if you buy a 24" 1/2 drive breaker. It was my last option if I wanted to eliminate some lost nuts because I had the 40" drive 3/4 model. torqued. Simply put, I could remove the things with a 40" breaker bar and one foot on the ground. Despite my lack of tools for so long, I cannot believe I only had them for the past month. These were all from one star reviews where they said they broke the following: They all have the 1/4 drive 18" version. Only the square drive end has broken. You stupid, just get a 24" or 1/2 drive version. For the most part 3/8 drive breaker bars should not be used outside of a couple instances involving extremely limited space. 3/8 ratchet drives take more time to loosen than regular drives, and there is less torque available with each gear. For the beastly 3/4 drive of your choice, break out the 1/2 drive, or let yourself be inspired by the beastly 1/2 drive.

When I tried to use it first, the tool broke in my socket. Just snapped back in the wrong place.

To avoid a headache that result from owning a named brand, pick one you are not interested in when you broke on the first turn.

The skin is extremely tough and it feels quite heavy
5/5

During removal of centerlock wheels from my Porsche GT3, I got stuck with a loose set of nuts. Torque levels up to 440 pounds are achieved with these nuts. With ease it feels like I break the middlelocks with no pain. Having my say.

Sturdy! Due to the OEM's design - which has swollen
5/5

I was able to replace the previously existing lug nuts with new ones from Amazon, but the old ones could not be replaced since they are 2 pieces. My normal size of socket is 7/4 inch, but due to the swelling I went on Amazon instead for a slightly larger 23mm one. My swollen nuts still weren't able to be broken loose by my 25 inch breaker bar. A crab from an era in which the Paleozoic existed did manage to remove nuts, but we never succeeded in removing them. Our reward for the good deed was some treefiddy, which I pay him. After I entered the Tekton breaker bar (I also ordered a new 23mm 3/4 drive socket from Amazon). , I broke the remaining 18 nuts free without a problem. My swollen nuts weren't as swollen as they should have. Fortunately, I was able to get to it now rather than having a flat on my left side. I thought overall this was a pretty good show. I think there should have been a rounded edge to the head. But it's just preference at this point. No, I do not anticipate any problems with the breaker bar being large.

The Serious Breaker Bar is quite cool
5/5

As a tool, the larger tractor brush hog unit was slightly less tight as well. A heavy pipe was slipped over the top of the bar as I extended it further and it did the job as it should. Despite the fact that it could sustain high force, it flexed when I was trying to gain a significant amount. There is no point recommending it, but I do.
