An 84-teeth speed gives a 4 out of 5. Fasteners can be turned in a smaller area using this ratchet arc of 3 degrees

This 84 tooth ratchet with a long handle is a great buy
5/5

I bought it along with a flex head 120 tooth ratchet. I have been wrenching for more than 40 years and have always bought high quality tools that are more durable, designed for better fit in specific places, and last longer than the average store tools. The quality of these ratchets exceeded what I expected considering the low price I paid. Know the tools of today. The majority of them are quite acceptable as well as meeting but not exceeding Mac, Snap - The prototypical tool for mechanics of medium to higher skill levels. It is true that the Goodwrench ratchets are not the best, but you will be surprised at just how good they Neither the open end, combination wrenches, nor the sockets are on my list of essential tools, but I do think both of these ratchets will be helpful in your tool box.

The 1/2" ratchet in my arsenal that I use most often
5/5

For many years, I was an NAASE and Chevrolet certified mechanic, and I've owned both good and bad ratchets, everything from the discount bin items in parts stores up to Mac and Snap-On models. This is a tool item. The Snap-On camera on my desk has been around for 30 years or so Normally, it works fine, but I have switched to this ratchet from GearWrench because it is my new favorite/go-to one Due to the large tooth count, the bolts or nuts are driven with a lot less rotation. Second, unlike the Snap-on type, the Snap-on type is small and light. In addition, there is significantly less drag on the gearing if a bolt or nut is allowed to spin freely. The third factor is the handle length, which is about 33 cm It is 50% longer than most standard 1/2" drive ratchets, but still is not as long as a breaker bar. It is therefore better suited for bolts that would be used with 1/2" drive tools. Last but not least, the handle has a similar contour to Snap-on products Then, you'll have a lot of comfort. Since 4 months have passed, this ratchet has performed just as well or even better than any comparable item that I have bought off of a tool truck while working in a dealership. If I want any other ratchets in the future, I will definitely order from GearWrench.

There are good tools for a price that won't break your budget at Gear Wrench
5/5

Having used Gear Wrench tools for several years now, I can vouch for their reliability. In addition to their sockets and ratchets, they have wrenches as well. It's impossible to go wrong here. As a matter of fact, I have literally every ratchet, socket, and wrench that gear wrench sells, and even ratchet wrench sets. The tools I use each day are from their company since I am a mechanic full time. Whether it's a semi truck or a small tractor, I'll work on it. you are going to do something stupid, such as put a 3 foot cheater pipe on it, then you will probably ruin No surprise there. My hands are strong enough to break snap ons half inch 24 inch all day long. If you take good care of them, they last a long time. 120xp's are great for work on motors and transmissions. A hard usage does cause them to lose some of their fineness. My first 120xp set, that I bought three years ago, is still in use at the shop every day. I bought 84 tooth sets a few years ago, and still use them.

I highly recommend this long handle 81264 3/8 ratchet (it works perfectly)
5/5

A few months ago I considered buying the Snap-on FL80, but chose to purchase the GearWrench 81264 (3/8 Ratchet) after a lot of research. There can be no comparison to the Snap-in With regards to the GearWrench, I am thrilled that I bought it. I have used it almost daily for two months now and haven't had any issues. When I serviced my AC system, fuel lines, and recently the clutch hydraulics in my car, this is the first ratchet I reached for. length is good, the set of teeth is fine, and the narrow profile has been a great help when working in tight places. As a whole, the tool has performed flawlessly, I have encountered no issues. I highly recommend it!.

Dreams come true but then they break
3/5

A good time was had by all. I had to get up on it, and it wasn't heavy enough to carry me at 165 pounds. If the heat treatment was done incorrectly, I would assume it was done During the time when it was still in one piece, I really enjoyed it.

This wrench was very well made and Hubby was very happy with it
5/5

Basically, he needed a new 1/2" wrench (anything but craftsman according to him), and he was extremely pleased with this purchase. Let me know how this is working out for him in a bit and then I will update the review.

The head is narrow
5/5

Thanks to the narrow flat head, this tool could fit into small spaces easily, and the on/off switch made it easy to operate. It doesn't matter which way it is turned. It's a fine piece of work. As a result, I am moving forward with purchasing Gearwrench.

A high level of quality
5/5

Whether this will stand up to the rigors of being used by a professional day in and day out in a shop is unclear to me. In the end, though, I find this ratchet to be the best I've ever owned for shade trees. No one is using those old Craftsman ratchets anymore! Despite its slim head, this thing packs a lot of torque and can fit in tight spots. It has a long handle that helps deliver the needed torque to loosen stubborn screws. I now use this ratchet whenever I need to drive a 3/8" nut.
