A single screw was removed successfully, but another was completely stripped to the point that I had to crack the oil filter to remove it. This is not something you should do.
You can find a picture attached. After it failed to answer these simple questions, I had to return it. If you have a nut that extends more than about a quarter inch past the bolt, it will not fit into the tool. I would have been happy with it for a few tasks, but I needed an all-around.
I bought this tool to tighten clip wing nuts on kitchen sink clips because I live in a tight place. The tool could only grasp the very tops of the nuts, but I was still able to tighten them with a power driver with no problems. It's only a 4-if you ignore what I said about the review A five-star review is because this tool is built without expecting a bolt to protrude beyond the nut more than half an inch. Plastic spacers are located in the center of this tool, and these spacers recede by 1/2 inch only. To make this tool much more useful, it should be made the whole socket at least 1" longer to allow the spacer to recede at least one inch.
Very bad! Has stripped a lot of bolts. Tried it on many bolts and it did not work on even one.
This is an accessory my wife bought me for my tool. Despite the tool being rated third, it gets three out of five. Although I cannot give it a 5, I still give it a 5 out of 5. After a 5 star review, I went to a 4 star review. have used it a few times, and it seems to work. Despite the fact that it does not work exceptionally well, it does what is claimed. This universal socket is a plug that can be used for any type of cord. The correct size is already in my box, so there is no need to locate it. The tool is placed in my box, but I do not use it all that When it comes to little tasks like tightening the nut on my son's bike, I use it most because I'm not too concerned about getting a solid fit, and I know that this will at least get It is obvious that I would not use it for any situation where I was uncertain of the fit.
Because of the shallow depth of the socket, it easily strips bolt heads and the inner parts. There is no use for the springs after they got stuck. Now that I have a half inch drive, I can use my drill.
Although the product looks great and has a great build quality, unfortunately it doesn't work with smaller fasteners. The nut/bolt needs to be bigger than M16 size to get a grip, otherwise it will keep sliding. Also, if it is being used with a power tool, then it will shave the corners off.
Home Depot had a wide variety of bolts and nuts of different sizes that I ended up building a bench with. As I didn't want to drag out my full tool collection of Craftsman/SnapOn, I used my Craftsman drill press. This worked for me, so I did it and then We've got it sorted out in no time at all! I haven't stripped any bolts with this tool and it really does work. I've been pleased with RAK products in general, and this product especially. It comes with a socket adapter that makes this so much more versatile to use with my power drill. As a gift for my brother and other friends, I will most likely order a few more.
