Although I have a large collection of sockets, I did not have the ability to remove the air conditioning from the Chevy truck If you compare this to my 16MM, you will discover that this cheap one has longer flats and more rounded corners. As this socket was designed to only work a few times, I have placed it in my drawer at the back. It also does not fit a fastener properly.

In contrast to many other reviewers, I don't think the Mastercool socket deserved a 5 star rating due to the high price tag and the fact that I didn't find it to be as good as I hoped. There is a description that says "nbsp" A socket designed for high quality is made in China, but the socket itself comes from Germany. As part of my classroom lesson with my teenage son, I marked around the socket with a red ring with a paint marker so he can easily recognize the socket. A socket (red/big) is connected to the high side fitting. Before the paint wears off, he will be able to figure out which socket size went into the fitting on the high side. I probably would have been better off using this socket than vice grips or something else to do this job. Since I ordered the item, I have no knowledge of if it works. The socket was on the port and it was taken If you don't want this to come off of your system under pressure, please make sure you do not have any more refrigerant in your system.
This Schrader valve has an AC rating of 955. We made the removal and installation of the job super simple. Even though the valve was a good price, it was more expensive than I anticipated, but worth the money to save the hassle of having to change the valve. The quality is good.
