Ratchet has a nice weight to it
5/5

After working with ratchets for over twenty years, I have spent a lot more time than I'd care to admit looking at ratchets. Among the many attributes you should look for in a ratchet, for example, you should look for Please note Br>- What would you prefer, a round handle, so that you can install a pipe on it for more torque*- You want a "comfort grip" made of plastic -- Can we have a flex head that locks? If so, do you have something else like that already? Please note Br>- What do you want from an ez-mail The socket has been released - To what extent would you like the angle to be fine? The inverted angle rotates less per click, (Finer as far as angles are concerned)*br To click/ratchet, you need a certain amount of back drag (how much reverse torque is required Using a ratchet that is too stiff will turn the nut/bolt in the wrong direction, something you obviously don't want). Are you interested in a ratchet that lasts for a certain amount of time? Larger is better in terms of torque, but harder to fit into tight spaces
- You need to know how thick the ratchet you want, measured from the square drive to the back of it, and we can supply it. When it comes to getting into tight spaces, thin is usually preferred
- Is a round head or a teardrop shape what you're after? Please note Br>- How important is it to you that the surface be polished? Please note Br>- If you use a circlip, do you prefer to attach the backing plate with screws? Hence, even when it comes to something as simple as a ratchet, there are a lot of factors I hope you understand that this ratchet is HEAVY. It is going to be your friend if you want something substantial. Because I prefer heavier ratchets, this was the ideal choice for me. It was important to me to have a rectangular handle design rather than a round one. There is less and less of this in the world. The extra length does mean you'll need a bigger pipe/cheater bar, but most of the time I can get more torque with a rectangular handle because it doesn't dig into my palm. It is highly polished, which can be helpful if you want to keep it clean easier than a cast-finish. There is a downside, however, as scratches and gouges show more clearly. It's most important to me that the products are easy to use, after all, they are not luxury items. A nice feature of this mechanism is the quick release mechanism Because it is almost flat against the back of the ratchet head, it prevents accidental triggers if it gets bumped I found the handle to be quite long -- An extension ratchet is much longer than a The book is quite long compared to what I expected. I’d rather the mechanism was more efficient, but the ratchet has a little more back drag than a craftsman, but a little more than a Pittsburgh at harbor freight, which are known to be very efficient. So here's what it looks like Yet to open it up to check if it was oiled, but it was delivered. This ratchet has 60 teeth, which is almost twice what a standard craftsman ratchet has, however it is not as fine as newer 72/90/120/144 tooth models. The head is too thick for my tastes - the number of teeth is fine for the most part, but the thickness As a comparison, it is about the same thickness as a plain craftsman ratchet, which compared to newer styles is quite It does not come with a rubber or plastic comfort As a result, to me, this is a plus, since rubber tends to degrade over time, and gets nasty looking if it is oiled or greased. If the handle material gets greased up, you will only be able to remove it by using harsh solvents that could destroy it. Additionally, putting a pipe over the comfort material will deform it or tear it, not to mention that an additional thicker pipe will be needed. The backing plate also attaches using a circular clip. As a result, disassembling the device is more difficult as you need circlip pliers. However, you won't need to worry about the screws backing out. can also feel that the circlip means the back plate holds on better than the screws do. If you are ok with having a round handle, there are better options out there. We have a much smaller selection of rectangular cross sections for those of us who really want them. The ratchet I previously owned (which broke) wasn't as nice as this one, but the company seems to have gone out of business, so I had to find another one. Some other choices include the craftsman standard and ultra thin ratchets, Dewalt's ratchet, and some gear wrench ratchets if you are like me and only want a rectangular cross section handle. It seems to me that this is too long if you are only going to buy one ratchet. However, if you are planning on getting a shorter, slimmer ratchet as well, then this might be a viable option. The quality is there, I can't imagine this breaking even under normal use. I have not used it much, but I can tell it is at least adequate.

My new favorite ratchet, has a wonderfully shaped handle
5/5

This ratchet is very sturdy and has a good girth to it. Thus, it is very easy to loosen very tight fasteners, without causing any pain to the user. As well as the ratcheting mechanism, it is very good. Having used ratchet drivers often for over 40 years, it is my favorite ratchet driver by far. In addition to its ease of use, the ratchet direction can be reversed with one hand.

It is sturdy, comfortable, and I have only used it for axle nuts on a single-speed motor with a 15 mm socket, and it has worked well for me so far A bicycle that can go fast
5/5

For my needs, the construction seems sturdy, the lever provides plenty of leverage, and the sockets are easily locked and unlocked, allowing me to set my preferred direction without difficulty. As for the sockets, they are Craftsman and fit perfectly. This is my very first ratchet and I am very impressed with how much more convenient it is than In my experience, even if I used it only occassionally with a few sizes of socket, I got an excellent value for my money.

This is one of the best, and it's affordable too
5/5

Honestly, I was not prepared for this bad boy to be as good as it is. Beautifully designed ratchet, feels good in the hand, works extremely smoothly, and the dial in the ratchet sounds really good. It is a tough tool that I use hard and challenge them with maximum torque possibly more than engineered, but this ratchet keeps on working. There's no reason to make a mistake, in my opinion.

Very good value for the money! In addition to the shape, there are no knurled or rough textures on the edge Surfaces that make it easy to slip

Unlike cheaper ratchets, this one is made of higher quality steel and polished to a precise finish.

The first time you use it, the device is locked
3/5

I was locked out the first time I used the app. The reverse could not be done. For it to be unlocked, I had to clamp it in a vise and apply pressure. It would be too much trouble to return The quality of what you buy is determined by the price you pay. In the spirit of.
