Capri Tools 1/2-Inch Drive Wobble Extension Bar Set, 3-Piece (1-2600)

After I broke a couple of 1/4 inch wobble extensions, I ordered these. After going through several sources looking for VW triple square, odd-size torx and external torx sockets and bits for working on my wife's 2013 turbo Beetle, I became familiar with Capri Tools. They have been making their master sets for those tools for about two years and I have been impressed with the overall quality and durability of their line. So, I decided to give them a try. A tray containing the extensions has a clear cover and it is black on the outside. While it isn't a sturdy tray, it should work fine as an organizer in a stationary tool box drawer. wouldn't bother with the cover as it doesn't do a whole lot more than protect against dust. I love how well the extensions work! I have used them to replace gaskets on a Mustang valve cover. Pushing the socket all the way down locks the socket much like a regular extension cord. Simply tug on the extension while holding the socket and it will pop forward a couple millimeters until you are able to move it. It is only a very minor complaint for me. As the shorter extension has no knurl, turning it by hand can be difficult in tight spots with oily or greasy hands, and on the longer extensions the knurled area is fairly short in relation to the shaft's length and located near My opinion is that it is not enough to take off a full star. The most you can do is half.

I got the 1/4" set for an oil drain valve that could not be reached easily while a straight shot was required. It appears that the Capri tools are of exceptional quality, so I will consider in the future more tools from them.

He wanted this set for Christmas and it actually didn't have the component part he needed. It seems to be of good quality, but the set was missing the part he needed. Highly recommend this seller for its smooth transaction and excellent service Providing return procedures that are accommodating. This extension is very versatile and it can be used in a variety of applications The set is reasonable and looks like it offers a lot of value for the price. As long as you know what you're buying, this set can provide a lot of value to you. Keeping you from feeling like a 'tool', haha! An accessory that will work with your current project!.

In tight spaces, they can be very useful. I think this set is well made and includes a nice selection. As for how well they have been made, that will only be evident in time.

The frame is extremely well crafted and provides an excellent fit without the wobble feature engaged. I have never seen a machine and finish that are as good as any professional tool. In theory, the steel is of high quality, but proving it will take some time. This is a great addition to companies such as SK, Proto, Armstrong, Wright, Snap on, Cornwell, etc.

I did not need to remove other parts from the straight extension because of this set. In order to get to distant places, I connected both of these To reach the bolt, turn the bolt counterclockwise.

When working in tight spaces, I have always turned to 3/8" socket extensions with a wobble end. When I saw these 1/4" wobble extensions the other day, I decided it would be good to have one in my toolbox. It was hard to imagine when I first started using them that they would become one of my favorite tools. With the right tools and ability, you can get into tight spots around motors and adjust or remove I really like this product.
