It must be impact-rated, since I have used mine a lot and it is an excellent bargain for the price.
Thumper, thank you very much for your question. Tools manufactured by ARES are of high quality. To ensure that we meet or exceed ANSI/ASME standards, we design our tools accordingly. It's impossible for me to speak to how our products compare to those made by other tool companies since products can vary in quality. You might want to look at Sunex, Craftsman, and Powerbuilt, as they are quality brands and I am sure that they will provide a quality product. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected]. Please accept my best regards, Rod at

Although they seem nice, they are not stronger than Pittsburgh adapters (Harbor freight) or Stanley ones. When I used hand tools to remove the same bolt on my car, all three of these brands broke. It hadn't even occurred to me to use an.
The 3/8" to 1/2" adapter snapped on the 1st lug nut as I tried to fix a flat tire in the cold. As a result I had a backup plan and the Tekton service kit on board my truck. This is *br.
Here on the Central Coast I usually use my 3/8 air impact to work on almost everything from lug nuts to in the engine bay. However, I recently needed a 3/8 to an inch adapter, which cost 6 dollars but I figured purchasing the set would only result in saving me money. The clamp does its job or at least I thought it would, but that diameter is already wobbling out and starting to deform after only a couple of days. Although it might not be the right thing for what I intend using it for, it is only 8$ so it doesn't matter if it doesn't last. Plus it is a prime eligible gift.
This is the ideal adapter to use a 19 mm 1/2 drive socket on a 3/4 inch breaker bar to tighten the damper pulley bolt on Honda or Acura To tighten the motor, you will need 255 feet/lbs of torque, and you will want to avoid an impact. The removal torque is usually greater than 255 ft/lbs. A wrench with an impact should not be used In front of the pulley is the crank sensor. Neither the 1/2 inch drive sockets nor the 3/4 drive sockets will be damaged at that torque, and I am not aware of a 3/4 drive socket set that has that size.
It was not strong enough to remove lug nuts from cars. The review may be misguided, however, I emailed the company for clarification and I will update this review if they honor their lifetime guarantee.
However, this device is a piece of garbage, despite the description that sounds tough and wonderful. It is the very first time I have used it. Torque was to be applied to a nut that was to be tightened. The new, just received "tool" was sliced like butter from its brand new condition! Are you saying this is a "graded impact tool?"? The company should be ashamed to offer to buy this at any price. Don't buy it. You might be able to accomplish what you're trying to do in a different way.
One of the most used items in my garage, it has become one of my most trusted tools. The sockets I use are 3/8 or 1/4 because I have a 1/2" impact driver and all my sockets are 3/8 or 1/4. I even make use of the 1/2 and half The third quarter ends on March 8th. I have 1 1/4 stacked on top of each other and have not had any issues yet, which seems super sketchy from the outside. So long as you use them on relatively normal fastened bolts, you should not have any issues. Obviously when you need to use torque on something that is rusted, stuck, or otherwise in need of actual torque for removal, you should I have been lazy for normal things as a result of these. This is a highly recommended book.
This is by far the worst socket I have occurred after I used my impact product for one time, and I mailed the company about it and they couldn't even reply. There is no better way to waste money than with It is unlikely that I will use this company again.
