I'm hoping I'll never have to warranty it because I'm sure the manufacturers will be offended by what I'm about to say, but I have to share! I bought this for use on large steel braided oil lines at a high-end car dealership where I work. I worked on my mother's whip one day because it needed to be aligned. She had previously paid another shop while I was away, and they informed her that they couldn't adjust the rear camber and toe to spec because the car had been in an accident. WRONG! Her rear suspension links, on the other hand, were seized like nobody's business. No other wrench I'd ever used had a chance against him. Because I didn't have enough leverage, even the Proferred couldn't move the lock nuts. That was the point at which I decided to take things a step further. I grabbed a three-foot steel jack handle and slid it over the wrench. With an adjustable wrench and all my might, I loosened every seized nut and didn't round off a single thing! When I say I was abusing this tool, I mean it! To my surprise, it didn't slip a single time, didn't bend, didn't do anything! The jaw still adjusts smoothly and without play, and it appears to be brand new. I was able to align her car perfectly thanks to Proferred's assistance. What a dreadful situation! And, by the way, a couple of coworkers bought one after seeing mine. You can tell when something is of high quality when you see it!.
The large nut on the bottom of a Kohler toilet's flush valve can be removed with this wrench. It's just a smidgeon too small, and using it is a pain. br>With a little room to spare, this wrench should fit the nut. In my opinion, the manufacturing quality is poor.
I use this as a universal wrench on my lathes to remove and tighten chucks. It's small enough to fit on chucks, spindle adapters, and faceplates, eliminating the need for multiple wrenches to fit the various accessories.
This is a good heavy wrench that isn't too heavy.
This wrench is ideal for plumbing work beneath the sink. This isn't the type of heavy-duty wrench you'd use to work on machinery or in an industrial setting. I bought it for plumbing jobs that don't require a lot of torque. The 12" wrench opens to 2 3/8" and adjusts smoothly.
Large, high-quality adjustable wrench (10") with thin, wide-opening jaws, ideal for repairing plumbing fixtures. This wrench is quite large, as you can see from the photos. I used it today to loosen the large thin nut beneath the drain on a bathroom sink. I'm glad I have it in my arsenal. (Note: DB is not a licensed plumber).
Exceptional! Amazing value for money. Excellent quality, extremely durable, and a fantastic tool. If you bought a wrench like this at Lowe's or Home Depot, it would cost you $50-$60. $60. br>After much searching, I finally found a wrench with a jaw capacity of up to 2 3/8" (12"). br>I will most likely purchase the other sizes as well.
The jaws' shape is the most similar to my missing Jaw Beak craftsmen professional adjustable wrenches that I could find. Except for the fact that the jaw on the 8" model moves about 3/16", I am very pleased with these wrenches. Because the 10 model is larger, it doesn't move nearly as much as the others. If both of these wrenches had been of the same quality, I would have given them a five-star rating. br>Take a look at the adjuster in the photo, where there is a lot more space than there should be, causing the jaw to move excessively. That extra space is not available on the 10".
