Questions & Answers
You will be able to use this on all slack adjusters with 7/16 adjustment nut, no matter what truck you have. Among these, this is the 5/16 square head with lock collar, while the other is also 3/16 square head.
On tractor trailers, it is used to adjust brakes. As far as I'm concerned, the device is light duty and doesn't subject itself to a lot Although it works well in tight spaces, I wouldn't want to push too hard on it to withstand excessive torque. I wish you the best of luck!

This must be modified in order to be used every day. As a heavy equipment mechanic
I have more than 20 years' experience and am currently based in Massachusetts The tool I needed for my work on trucks is new to me. Since I've been accustomed to using it almost daily, I'd like to share with you some results. The bending handle is made of steel and it is rather mild. Adding some rigidity to the tool will be accomplished by securing it with a bead around the majority of the edge. Lastly, if it's still too soft, I have some case hardening compound that I will apply to its exterior in order to provide some hardness. As a result, I am frustrated by the fact that the R&D department has not addressed this issue It may have been that they identified a need but never tested it in the real world, or they were the ones in charge of field testing and failed to confirm its viability in the real world This world is a usable place. No more of this manufacturer's products will be bought by me.
The decision to pick mine was made after I struggled to adjust brakes on a gravel train that involved 11 axles. I can tell you for sure that this tool will save your life. It's length gives you the leverage you need to make them back off, and its profile makes it easy to squeeze into tight spaces. It is the same tool you get on your truck, so it is a good price. *Edit
It has been under a year since I purchased this tool, and I am still having no problems with it. The one downside I found to this tool is that it is almost too long to work correctly on slacks of trucks. In addition to suspension components and brake drums, it also seems to want to hit.
It is from the same set as the There are some of these with finer teeth on truck for around 10 dollars cheaper, so I wish someone would make one of these. The ones with 15 teeth can take a while to click so you have to swing a lot.
A piece of equipment we had for almost a year Regularly and in compliance with its design, we use it. I would have thought a well built tool would have lasted longer. I guess I will be looking for a better built brand next.
This item is the same as one from major tool company that has mobile sales trucks, but costs four times as much. If you compare the Red Label product and this one side by side, it appears that they are provided by the same company. Tool with a different colored grip on the handle that is exactly the same as a sane tool.
I like it very much. The adjustment of the brakes of my truck is easy with this tool. With the long handle, you get a lot of leverage.
