Questions & Answers

The description states that the product has dimensions of 8 x 6 x 3 inches. Having 6 x 4 means having 16 x 16. A total of four times one. The following measurements are in inches There is still no answer to a question that states I can't figure out why it's 5" wide. ?

The 8 seems to be the best choice. A square of 6 x 4 is formed. A total of four times one. A package with dimensions of 5 inches must have a height of 5 inches. The number of mine is They have five wide jaws. The faces of the jaws are one wide. The tallest version of the character is 25 inches. They have a 3/8 inch tab on top that rides on top of your vice jaws and the jaws are about 5/8 inches thick. Please refer to the product image for more information. As it turns out, another answer is correct as well. To be honest, I like them a lot.

Are you able to clamp an AR barrel with this? Do you need a muzzle device installation kit (for muzzle devices, ?

In fact, yes. This tool is ideal for the handling of all types of firearms.

Does anyone know if they leave a yellow residue or imprint when clamped down really tightly?

I have been using the clamps for months now. My primary use of those slides, however, is for pistols. On a slide, it is difficult for residue to adhere to the metal

Is this a reliable way to hold a pistol slide so that sights can be installed without marring ?

It will hold your pistol slide firmly without marring it, so that your sights can be installed.

This is what I use to hold slides of some of my doctoral dissertations The front and rear sights can be removed from automatic pistols so that I can carry them
5/5

These vice jaws hold the slides in place when a pistol's sight is hydraulically pressed into place, and they prevent the sight from marking the I like how you can clamp a few items in the vice jaws while you work on them with the grooves in the jaws. It is important to remember not to tighten your vice too tight on your pistol slide as you may bend, deform, or even crack them if you do not take care. I was able to tap out the old sights using a brass punch and replace them with new ones when I used these. I am pleased with the quality of this product, and if I need another pair I will order them again.

There's no way to go wrong with these
5/5

Magnets work just as described. They are strong enough to hold firmly on vice jaws but still allow you to move them with ease. Also, the precut holes are a blessing. I'm glad they were molded Bumpy skin does not exist in them To ensure proper clamping of the stop ends, make sure to get them correctly placed in the jaws. This is a set of jaws for a vice with 4in jaws, so there is about 2in of material left over, but that's not a problem for me, and if I ever upgrade to a larger vice, these jaws will still I bought them for my gunsmithing hobby, and I think anyone looking to do this should have them as well. You can also use them if you want to use them for chucking objects in the vice you don't want to make a mess. The only negative I can point out about these is that you "lose" about 1/2 a inch of your total jaw opening distance when you use them. Just It is a little misleading in the picture In terms of color, the ones I got were more orange than yellow, but that doesn't bother me at all. However, other than that, they are fantastic!.

I like this, but it is a little soft
4/5

It is orange in color, and the jaws I received are round. I'm a big fan of the color, but be warned, you might receive an orange set instead. You should steer clear of soft vise jaws if you do not need them. These clips work perfectly for holding knife blanks for finishing. They hold them securely, even after washing. You may have to sand etc. There is a good fit and finish to the construction, but I expect the magnets to fall out sooner or later. It seems like they're a little loose out of the package, but some epoxy will fix the problem if they escape. I don't see the problem. It's an amazing feeling when you're around.

They are a great alternative to traditional vise liners
5/5

Two days ago, it was used for the first time. The vise pads were a good purchase for me. While I put a new edge on several jumbo knives, I used these holders. They held true without any signs of uneven pressure and did not show any sign of scratching. By using two magnets on each liner, I was able to safely and firmly hold each blade, so I got my hands free to cut profiles. My previous method was to hold each knife one at a time with one hand, resting the back of the blade on my knee while profiling the blade with the other hand. That was my best and worst option until now. My first attempt at using a profiling device was neither safe nor effective because no matter how steady I tried, my profiler always ended up rocking. So what do we do I can't spell Oh, daaaa ! The profiles on my website are much better! I'm so excited! In the process, I have much less of a chance of getting cut. I say YAAAA! I had originally planned to use these for securing a parallel slide upper. During the movement of the rear sites, the goal was to stabilize. Although I haven't gotten around to using them for that purpose, they are a great way to store Bessey, whoever you are, thanks for your input. These vise liners are very nice.

View some ideas that Jaws has to offer
5/5

My vise has six-inch jaws that are fitted to magnets, so I can center or move them to one side or the other. They are great since they are easy to center or move. Pushing the jaws to one side lines up the groove for tubing, whether vertical in direction or angled in direction. I am confident that the jaws will not damage delicate items since they feel slightly soft. The jaws are soft, so they have a soft grip and don't feel like they need to be squeezed too hard. Nonetheless, I think the bright yellow lends a whimsical air to the workshop and I would prefer black, but at least.

I'm speechless, Bessy
5/5

As with all the Bessey products I have, I love these as well. This product is used for securing soft wood in the wood shop as well as diving regulators for diving. In both cases, it helps by eliminating direct metal contact and is also very effective when applying force.

I was not expecting these to be as good as they are
5/5

Normally, these would deform when clamp pressure is applied to them. Despite that, it is only a minor issue and won't affect upcoming However, we must admit that there is rarely any deformation in most applications. During one of my rounds, I placed a 3/4" threaded object and clamped hard, leading to a minor amount of gluing. It is very hard to see thread depressions if you try hard enough. There is no doubt that these jaws will hold most work well and will handle delicate items well. on the jaws makes it easy to slide them left or right or to remove them. The jaws of the clamp did not scare when I clamped heavily on the sharp edges of metal sheet. There are two bad things It is true that they do take a significant amount of space in a It appears that removing the Bessey jaws from my 4 inch vise will allow objects to fit that will not fit when they are in there. You may add a question in a comment if someone would like to know how much more I will reduce the car. I will go to the garage and measure it myself. There is nothing bad to say about this.
