NOT to be used for drilling with the hammer! The best way to complete this work is to use an electric hand drill at a low speed!

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to remove T6 screws with it?

It comes with a properly sized drill bit and has a small extractor (less than 2mm in diameter). That might help, but I'm not sure.

When I screw and unscrew, do I do it ?

In brief, yes. If you screw or unscrew in reverse, you'll achieve the same result.

Does this work on screws in glasses frames with broken screws?

In brief, yes. A glass screw extractor can be used for normal removal of spectacle screws. Nevertheless, if the screw has been stripped and damaged, then it cannot withstand the force and can't be screwed. You cannot disassemble the screw because it can't be screwed. There is no need to remove it.

Having an opportunity to try this screw extraction kit, I believe it is a good kit for a good price
4/5

There isn't much to say about the packaging since it can be used in the garage but it comes with the standard 10 drill pieces, 10 extraction bits, a small and large bit holder, and a customer support card. As the drills and extractors are matched by size on the foam holder, the drills are labeled accordingly. If they had been labeled according to the type of screw you were trying to extract, and if they were a little more clear, it would have been nice. It was my first time using a screw extractor, so I had no idea what to expect. Three screw sizes were selected to try, in that order, a #8 1 1/2", a #10 1 12", and a #4 34. A 2"x4" was screwed into each of the corners without a pilot hole. My first step was to use a smaller screw bit to damage the Phillip's head after they were screwed in. As can be seen in pictures #2 and #3, the damaged head of the #8 can be seen before the hole was cleaned out with a drill bit. Fortunately, I had guessed the right extractor and was able to pull the screw out with no difficulties.

The other two screws, the #10 and #4, were a little harder to extract. I don't think it had anything to do with I chose the drill bit and extraction bit to use more so than the drill bit itself. Nevertheless, I am new at this, so I managed to get the screw out the second time around. * My only observation is the magnetic holder has a slight wobble. In actuality, the shaft does not fit into the chuck, it is the outer collar that holds the bit in place. Using it properly won't make a difference at lower speeds and it won't be a factor when it's used. All in all, I would recommend this A lot of people buy and put away things in hopes they'll never need them, but when they do, maybe they'll be glad they have them. Due to the fact that I haven't tried any other kits, I can't compare it to Because of this feature as well as the bit holder (both discussed above), I will give it 4 out of 5.

Kit for extracting screws of medium to small diameter
5/5

At the price of this kit, it's a very nice kit. I have a screw extractor for larger screws, but this kit is designed more for smaller screws. I measured it down to about a millimeter in diameter. The tool is one of those you are really happy to have when you need

I have used it twice so far on small screws and it worked as expected. The case is nice and keeps everything organized, and the bits themselves are nice and hard. In my opinion, it is definitely an area to include in your tool belt for the money.

Damaged screws can be removed quickly and easily
5/5

There are ten sizes in this kit for drilling into broken, damaged, rusted or gunked up screws, and the process is quick and easy Once you have found the right screw size, you will drill into the remaining portion of the screw or head with the hardened metal bit. After that, you remove the remaining piece by rotating the drill so it pops out, and you do it with the same size extractor. Using a good system, a process that might take hours by hand can be accomplished in 2 or 3 minutes without any problem. Including ten hardened drill bits, ten corresponding extractor bits, and two bits to attach the bits to your drill, this kit is easy to use and has all you need to drill hard. A magnatized attachment piece makes it more difficult for drill bits or extracuon bits to slip within. With this approach you should be able to use practically any power drill or even a mechanical drill, but obviously the power drill will always provide you with the best overall results and time-wise the fastest.

It works like a charm! Having stripped two screws in one of my RC cars, I purchased these and they just arrived today, they were great and I was able to easily remove the two screws, so I'm now quite pleased with them
5/5

These screw extractors were just what I was looking for, since I already had a screw extractor set, but needed something for smaller screws. The set is absolutely necessary if you work with small screws often or if you have the unhealthful habit of stripping screws like me. Their use will be very useful in the future.

Worked hard to complete the project
4/5

Don't do it too much. The pros include There is no need to change. This set is quite nice. • Weaknesses A long life. Despite the fact that I'm not positive what kind of metal it is, from certain other reviews it doesn't appear that it's a single piece of pure metal. The pieces of wood that you compress together to make furniture are kind of like those chips of wood. do not strip a lot of screws so I expect this to last me quite a long time. I once stripped a screw on a piece of wood and had to go back a couple of times until I found the right Lastly, you need to push into the screen to ensure it bites into you. I found that it worked pretty well. A variety of sizes are available as well as two types of adapters and extensions. For drills with 1/4" chucks, the adapter is suitable. I think it did a pretty good job on the whole.

There is a high quality to them
5/5

There is a wide selection of extractors to choose from. This case is of good quality and even has a nice cover. I found that the software I tested did what I wanted. The stripping tool will be a welcome addition to my toolbox even though I don't do it regularly.

This set is fantastic
5/5

My goal was to remove a very tiny breech screw from a 1377, so I used a hand driver and a little cutting oil to remove it. Drilled with a small drill bit and extracted with a small I am very pleased with how it worked! The trick is to drill the stripped hole out deep enough for the extractor to grip, and go slow to avoid damaging the cutting oil. The screws are tinier, and the price is much cheaper than what Home Depot and Lowe's have.

To get the most out of them, there is a learning curve
5/5

Take some time to watch some YouTube videos and practice on some you don't care about if you have never used such a set before. It took me a couple of tries to figure out how to use them and which size to use in order to remove tiny screws from motorcycle gauges that had been stuck shut for 40 years or more by rust. We took our time & it took a lot of energy Understanding that brute force wouldn't work was needed both in patience and understanding at the same time.
