Can you tell me what sizes they are?

From 5/64 inch to 7/32 inch it is 5/32" wide The 664" to 964" ranges from 7/32" to 9/32" - A 5/32"*9/32" to 3/8" and a 3/8" to 1/2" pipe The 1/8" pipe is made of A nut diameter of 1"*3/8" to 5/8" & Pipe 1" in diameter - A 19/64" 6/8" - 7/8" It is important to note that the package marking differs from what is etched on the EX- package The bit size is 6 bits. Did the product get made in a certain place?

The statement "Made in USA from Global Components" clearly means that the pieces (components) came from outside of the United States. A native of the U.S. brought to the U.S. They were assembled here into a set of six (6) extractors that are kept together in a set box that might or might not have been manufactured in the U.S. Other than being manufactured outside the United States, the set was manufactured abroad. It is a member of a group of countries (China, Taiwan, That's somewhat of a good thing, but for those who want to purchase U.S. Tools were not made here, but they were made in Europe.

What are the chances any of these are big enough to remove a left hand 1/2 inch fine threaded ?

In general, most of the sizes are intended for larger than 1/2 inch, but the two smaller sizes are suitable for use as well. have found that using a 50/50 mixture of automatic transmission fluid and acetone Be sure to apply it before removing the screw and tap lightly on it.

It might seem dumb, but what would be the best tool to use with It is intended to be used with my Dewalt impact driver, but I am unsure of how to attach it. ?

Make sure you use the appropriate size drill bit to penetrate the center of the damaged screw or bolt. I use an adjustable wrench to remove the bolt by tapping the extractor in the drilled out hole in the bolt. If you don't have an adjustable wrench you could probably use a T-handle. A handle tap wrench should be used if your tap and die set includes one. If you are going to use these extractors with power tools, I am not sure that is appropriate.

The best metal screw extractor you will ever find if you work in the auto / motorcycle industry Hands down, if you ask me
5/5

The review is for mechanics who install metal screws into metal parts (not wooden components) on cars and motorcycles. The chowder your reading this review is quite good, and if you know what it is, you know what it is. There is a screw head that has been boogered up, and it needs to be removed. None of us have been able to achieve success with other brands of screw extractors. My only option has been to drill out COUNTLESS JIS/Philips screws and then use vice grips to remove the screw. Other extractors are designed for WOOD screws, which is why they are made for wood metal screws have a much higher friction rate, so you need a much larger bite in the screw to overcome it. Irwin Hanson offers a spiral flute screw extractor set that is perfect for handling situations like these. There are only a few steps to follow *Clarification 1. You find an old, stripped screw that needs to be removed*2. You curse for two minutes, berating the previous owner or the manufacturer for being such an idiot. The screw extractor should be fitted with the correct size of drill bit. There are instructions for sizing (smaller is better)*4. 5. Drill a hole in the center of the offending screw. It is best to gently tap the extractor in until it takes a good bite (DO NOT WHACK IT). 6. Screw your screw
7 back in place and turn the extractor bit ANTICORNCLOCKWISE. You can LIKE this review on Amazon.

I hope you'll appreciate it. In all seriousness, this is a seriously nice product. I just wish it could have been found sooner BEFORE I restored six.

There is no sauce in this
3/5

A model of this was available in the ex-service The next day, I went to the hardware store to get screwdrivers, bought the number 2 size (same brand as here) and used it to extract one rusty screw from the car's license plate holder before it snapped trying to extract the second one. The T-word I used was In all, I managed to break the handle by hand. After breaking off the head of the screw to retrieve the extractor, I foolishly bought another, thinking it might pull through better. As well as the first extractor, the second also broke. As you can see in the photo, we have what appears to be a very small There is a piece of the extractor embedded in that screw head. It is almost impossible to drill through the extractor with the tools I have, and other tools could potentially damage the car, so I attempted to use adhesive instead. In summary, this extractor can work but is not nearly as durable as you might expect for something made of In the event that you need to extract something really stuck, maybe another type of extractor will be better. Once it snaps off, it can be difficult to remove. You'll see a lot of unfortunate souls trying to remove broken screw extractors if you do a search for the method.

This is perfect

Keep these points in mind Extraction of the bolt should NOT be done with a drill Wrench it the old fashioned way- You shouldn't speed up with torque, but rather with I don't understand people who use drills and then complain that the tool doesn't Do it right and in a way that is easy and you will get exactly what you need from this tool.

The Spiral Screws & Bolts Extractor is superior and strong
5/5

I am very pleased with this spiral screw extractor! Despite its hardness and strength, it is fragile. The product is made in the United States. My air flow drain is broken on my Dewalt air compressor and I need to pull it out using a spiral flute extractor. The tool has been a godsend to me. By using it, I am able to easily undo the damaged valve. To use this tool, remove any screws, bolts, and valves that have broken. It is impossible for me to use my air compressor when I am without this tool since I cannot remove the broken valve that is still The tool is useful, as now I can take out the broken ones and replace them with the ones I purchased. We are so grateful for the engineer who provided us with this tool to help us fix the broken screw issue. It is an excellent tool to own and you won't regret owning.

I have no idea how to get to these files
3/5

me, I cannot seem to get these to operate.
For one thing, the extractor ends are very long, which means they will not work for small According to instructions, you should start by using an extractor bolt slightly smaller than the bolt being extracted, then you should use an appropriate drill bit in the middle of the bolt to start turning the bolt counterclockwise. However, what happened to me was that it took Finally, I decided to drill out all the bolts completely rather than continue working on them.

It is a great set of extractors
5/5

After I removed the bolts from the engine blocks, I removed wood from the bike Machines, rotors, and masonry were used in the construction. The left-hand punch is stronger than the right-hand punch The combination of vice grips, a hammer, and drill bits will be enough to remove any bolt from.

As well as right handed drill bits, recommend left handed bits
5/5

I have been drilling out broken bolts and folding them in on themselves for the last ten years. Neither of these were necessary for me. The problem was that my friends used my garage increasingly and I had to drill out more These sounded interesting, so I decided to try them. During a quick 5 minute break out, I got 2 bolts flushed out. As well as the right handed bits, I also bought the left handed parts from Irwin. I was also impressed by those. The bolt I removed so fast was the first time I had done it.

I saved a lot of time and money by doing this
5/5

In my tractor, a 1/2" NPT hydraulic fitting cracked and broke off inside a hydraulic cylinder. I used this set to repair it. Since there is no other option to remove the cylinder and bring it to the shop, I had no choice but to use this method. Fit just right in the largest size. few gentle taps with a hammer and a deliberate turn of a crescent wrench (not a drill) and the broken fitting was removed. Now that I'm back in business, let's get started! It cost less than a fraction of what it would have cost to get the fitting removed from a shop. The time it takes to remove the cylinder is not to be underestimated.
