The bench seats in my Ford van are portable and can be moved around when I am going on Essentially, this baby works for removing Ford Econoline seat bracket bolts that hold them to the floor. I have a Torx socket, but it sort of fits, but not exactly. In 10 seconds or less, the bolts fly out when I use my drill driver.
Make sure you have a big breaker bar and tons M12x1 is the measure of almost all of the bolts. Although the tool is only effective on 75 bolts not the rear 4 (the rear bench bases utilize 6 bolts for a total of 6), it will still be able to remove all bolts.
There are drive (Torx) bolts holding the device into place. It was too small for the T55 I found at my local auto parts store. T60 sized too large for me, so I ordered it from Amazon. In the process of ordering it, I heard about Torx Plus drivers and chose this one. What a wonderful thing. I have no idea why there is such a thing, but it was just what I was looking for.
Tool that is very durable. It was used to remove and install Cam Phasers on an engine. It took a lot of torque to remove and install the parts together. Perfect stability was achieved by the tool.
With other adapters, you will have to strip the bolts in order to use them. I am sure this one will fit This is the one to have.
This is what I needed to remove the 6 bolts that hold the bed on my Ford Ranger so I could As my socket wore out, I needed to replace it. There was so much fabric it was too big compared to the size stated. I already had one that worked just fine. I'm not quite sure what this one relates to. I don't want to bother you.
The reason I purchased this is because it seemed to be a little heavier duty than your standard T bit that isn't My old vehicle was not even close to being able to break free, so I was afraid they wouldn't want to be free. The bottom line is that it will not fit a standard T55 bit head, so if that is what you are after (like me), do not waste any time or money on it.
Thanks for the advice, I was able to tighten the cam sprocket bolts with a standard 50Torque bit, but a standard bit is too loose.
