These sockets were just delivered and I haven't used them yet, but they look great, and from what I've seen with some other tekton tools, I don't think they will have any issues. I like the quality of the chrome and etching on these and how well made they seem. Most of my makeup is from more expensive brands, but I do not expect to use them often. There is not much you can do to remove the sockets from the holders without some kind of tool, which is a bad thing. In my experience, I was barely able to remove the sockets by hand, and my co-worker couldn't even remove a single one from the socket. My fingers pried them off with the help of a screwdriver, and I threw the holders I bought these shoes based on the fact that they had that feature. Taking a look at the other review, it sounds like I could just have been unlucky. There may not be all holders that are out of specification. Edit
I read another review and it seems that it is possible to remove the sockets from the rail by using a certain technique. There are some different rails out there and the rails I've currently got are the style you can just pull straight off. The one I had was thrown away, so I can't attest to it.
Today, I received my set of brand new sockets on an Ernst socket rail. They are really nice! Those who reviewed the rail and said bad things about it don't understand how they function In order to turn the socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise, you should The socket comes off as soon as you turn it counterclockwise. The clamp is firmly attached from behind when it is slipped on and turned 2/4 turn clockwise. For all my sockets I have Ernst rails and trays, which are great. I have 15 rails and more than 100 sockets on them. In my first order of Tecton tools, I just received my first order - so exciting! We also provided two ratchet handles, some 1/2" impact sockets, and these sockets. Although I have only used them a little, I find them quite impressive, and I consider myself a snob when it comes to tools. use Snap On sockets and ratchets that I bought in 1976 and have had them for more than 40 years. Although they're still great tools, they're still very useful. I am confident these Tecton tools will meet or exceed your expectations.
It turns out I could not get hold of my TEKTON 3/8" Drive External Star Socket Set and received the TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive x 8 Inch Quick-Connect Kit instead Replace the release button with Ratchet. It's because of this that the star is one. It was such a pleasure to use the ratchet that I decided not to return.
It was a strange thing to happen. A button on my old car would randomly set off the emergency flashers because it would pop up at random. I wrapped a belt around the column, and that worked for awhile, but the belt broke while I was at work. The battery died shortly thereafter. Trying to find out what bolts were holding in the multi-holes In the steering column, Torqx bolts are used for the signal switch. They didn't even exist when I was a kid. I finished the replacement unit after getting my Tekton sockets (unless you're a contortionist, hire some one else to do it). A value that is worth every penny.
The tools I had in my toolbox were stolen when someone stole my toolbox, so I have been researching new hand tools to replace them. Although Texton is a good brand, Snap-on may be a better one. It's on the downside that they're at least 5 times cheaper and they come with a no-hassle rails to which the sockets were attached are worth half the price of the sockets alone. There was a good amount of chrome and the size was clearly marked. I was extremely satisfied with the fit. I intend to buy more Texton tools in the near future. These were great for removing studs from an engine.
I can't believe the price for a high quality company product. My 2013 Mercedes must be compatible with it. The fit and finish on this item are excellent. The holders are not particularly good, but if the price increases, I'd rather they be garbage than a great value. There is a lot of good stuff from Tekton.
Tekton is a great brand. For the price, these are well made and fit well.
The perfect size for replacing a spark plug in the mini F56.
