Each end of the shaft is used to store the bits. To use a different bit size, the shaft is pulled out of the handle and reversed. It comes with a Phillips tip as well as a common There is a 1/4-inch hex nut on one end of the shaft and a 5/16-inch nut on the other.
I don't think there is a magnet in the refrigerator. In these holders, the bits are held in with recessed balls that are held in by a spring. However, screw placement would be difficult with these holders. However, the edges of the bits are well machined, so most screws (like the ones for computer racks) will sit well on them almost entirely horizontally.
Made in Taiwan appears on a tool I purchased on January 8, 2016. There is also a statement on the package saying, "Imported by" AKA "Klein Tools of Mexico."

It's absolutely terrible that this screwdriver is so stubby! The reason I bought it was just for the top 3 screws on the fan and this screwdriver drove me insane. It is magnetic bits that stay in the extension but the handle is not magnetic, so there is a Before I install the next fan, I am 100% returning this screwdriver and will hit up a local hardware store.
There are replacement parts available for purchase. It's one of the best pocket tools you can find. It was my hope that the bits would be better quality. Even though I haven't had it for more than two months, the Phillips bit is already starting to round off. Note

This tool is perfect for tight spaces (like tight corners or narrow corners)! I have found it to be the best stubby I have used so far. It is better to carry just this one stubby instead of several different ones. I like the different tips you provided. It comes in not only 2 sizes of flats and 2 types of Philips, but also 2 sizes of hex. This thing comes apart for easy access to those hard-to-reach places. So far, I've saved myself from having to return to the truck several times. Besides, Klein quality continues to be good (good.
There are a lot of screwdrivers and nut drivers of different sizes and shapes in my collection. Adding it to my collection was a great idea. Often I do volunteer handyperson work around the community until I get to the site of a project and I don't always know the details until I get there, so I carry a variety of screwdrivers and nut drivers with me. I was able to remove several tools from my pack using this method. My experience with other drivers and brands that I have tried show that the most common issue is the retention of the bits. In the long run, this driver seems really well made and worth the higher cost. As a normal rule, the retention is generally poor to start with and becomes worse over time. Not with this one. You can tell the rare earth magnets provide just the right amount of tension, and the socket style locking of the shaft is excellent. As for the bits, I have no idea what would happen if they were lost, since they are not a standard size. Klein is probably the store that sells them, but I'm sure they aren't in every store, and they are probably not very But the tool is very useful, so I wouldn't call it a defect, just something to keep in mind when you're.
It's pretty amazing to me that my dad passed down so many tools to me and they've been around for more than 30 years that he used when he was an electrician and contractor and they're still going Now that I have seen how well his klein tools perform even after so much time, I only buy Klein myself. My dad told me when it came to tools, you only need to buy them once and you only have to pay a premium. Although I have a lot of klein screwdrivers, I did not have any multi-tools After looking at several bit drivers, I decided to purchase a few and I am pleased with them. We didn't have to worry about the bits falling out or the shaft coming away since they were snug. Kleins of this style look just like the ones I bought just now, but with a shorter shaft. I will need to get the stubby ratcheting version soon as well.
My understanding of the negative reviews is unclear. The shaft falls out of the cylinder when it is inverted, according to someone. The stubby, the 11 in 1 and the 14 in 1 are all the same with me, and I've never had a problem This is a minor issue and is to be expected. Those with problems with bit driver sizes also have that these do not use standard bit People who do not understand engineering simply do not get it. By having the bits with double ends, you not only have a variety of drivers, but you also have a nutdriver socket that can be used with different socket bits. A socket can be used as a different sized nut driver by using different size bits. It would be impossible to have more than one size of nut driver if they used standard bits. It is worthwhile to spend the extra money on quality tools.
The multi-tool is a handy little item I usually just keep it in my pocket at work, the bits do not fall out since they are tightly held in. Thus far, no problems have been encountered.
Klein Tools are truly quality tools, and that is why it is what we do. Tool is amazing for reaching into tight spaces where a larger screwdriver cannot reach. The handle is fat and the boot is rubber. An average sized screwdriver, it is about the size of a pointer finger. It would be highly recommended that anyone who does some diy work or is in the trades pick up.
