As a result, this serves as a constant screwdriver
5/5

I've been looking for this type of screw driver handle for a LONG LONG time, but couldn't figure out where to look. Dear Amazon, I have it, but it will not spit it out unless I say the magic word "screwdriver handle"! br>This has a strong "bite," which means that once it grabs a hex screw bit, it won't let go. br>Thus, it functions as a permanent screwdriver with replaceable tips. br>I've been using an impact driver with this type of grib, and now I know it's referred to as "QUICK change" or "QUICK release. " br>Once it bites a tip, it stays that way, just like an impact screwgun. br>However, the tips can still be changed. br>There are tens of thousands of screwdriver handles that accept various bits, but none quite like this. br>This QUICK change type grabs the bit and won't let go, whereas most other types of MAGNETIC, which is the WORST kind, i lost many bits. br>There are two types of hex bits available, one with a NARROW neck and the other with a LONG neck, both of which are suitable for this type of QUICK changing handle. br>Other types are simply short bits without the narrow neck, allowing the bits to become dislodged; however, magnetizing does not guarantee that the bit will remain in place.

This tool appears to be well-made
5/5

This is one of my favorites; it has a very solid feel to it. The clear acetate handle adds to the overall appearance. This was supposed to go with the TEKTON 2938 Quick-Set. Change the Bit Set of the Power Nut Driver. Regrettably, the Tekton bits are too short to fully engage with the Malco handle. bummer. My Dewalt SAE nut drivers, for the record, were a perfect fit for the handle. The problem is that Dewalt does not produce metric drivers. As a result, I decided to purchase the Titan Tools 15223 Metric Nut Driver Set. 6 piece. Kind- They're a little pricey, but they're good drivers made in Taiwan that fit perfectly. Using the Malco Connext will save weight and space in my Veto tool bag by eliminating the need to carry a variety of different nut drivers. You've got to admire that.

It's unbelievable how good it is

So, what makes a 1/4 shank bit handle so appealing? If the tightness of the bits and the feel of the handle are important to you, you should consider purchasing this. I have a lot of bit handles from Dewalt, Williams (Snap on), Stanley, Craftsman, and other brands, and they all wobble a lot, especially the ratcheting ones. This one is the tightest and strongest, with the least amount of wobble. The acetate handles look like they belong on a craftsman's toolbox. The quick change will secure the bit and prevent it from slipping out. This wowed me so much that I ordered a second one. With the appropriate bits, these can be used as screwdrivers, hex drivers, nut drivers, and torx drivers. I'd go with shanks that are at least three years old. They're 5 inches long, but shanks as short as 1 inch can be used. 5 inch. Something about a tool that outperforms the competition while remaining reasonably priced appeals to me. You have to admire Malco. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I recently purchased a Plano 23500. 00 storage box for the Malco as well as a variety of screwdriver and hex bits The box is absolutely perfect, and I highly recommend it. I'm thinking about snapping a photo and adding it to this review.

This is a fantastic grip
5/5

It's a fantastic size and it has a fantastic feel to it. The magnet is powerful, and the quick-release mechanism is effective. The handle is perfect for my tips, and I also ordered MIP tips to go with it. It appears to be a good set-up.

The best quick change screwdriver I've ever used
5/5

I've used Stanley, Husky, Craftsman, and Dewalt bit drivers and interchangeable screwdrivers, among others. This is by far the best. Although using the longer impact style bits is more expensive, it is well worth it for a variety of reasons.
1. Rather than being held in place by a magnet or a ring, the bits LOCK in place. This means the bit will not come out of the screwdriver if you drop it or if it becomes stuck in a fastener. There will be no more bits that have been dropped or misplaced.
2. Because the shaft of the bit driver is so much wider than the bit, they are frequently too large to get down into blind holes. The impact style bits are an exception to this rule. The shank is essentially the same size as a fixed screwdriver's shank.
3. You can choose shorter or longer bits while maintaining a fairly rigid setup without resorting to extensions that wobble and rattle.

Handle for a screwdriver of excellent quality
4/5

Screwdrivers with good handles are becoming increasingly difficult to come by. Everyone is obsessed with "cushion grip" or "ergonomic" handles, which are made of soft material. This is a big mistake because when rubber is exposed to oxygen, sunlight, and oils, it degrades into a gooey mess. This one has a clear acetate handle, similar to the 50-year-old screwdrivers. Thank you, Malco, for avoiding that path. With minimal wobble, the chuck stays in place. There are a few minor quibbles: Only about a quarter of the way into the handle does the shank go into the handle. I wish it went all the way to 3" or so for maximum strength. The handle is a little fatter than most screwdriver handles, which is unnecessarily fat. Minor nitpicks once more. I think you'll like this handle because it fits all of my notched impact driver bits, including the double-ended ones. finished type.

This is ideal for reducing the weight of your bag
5/5

For tight spaces and recessed screws, I use this with a 32-piece security bit set and a few 4" long bits with blades machined down to resemble standard screwdriver blades. Nut drivers can be used as well. It is extremely adaptable and saves both space and weight. Typically, an electric screwdriver will be used for quick disassembly, and the bit will be changed to this if overtightening is a concern or precision is required. The quick change part is sturdy, and it includes a magnet to keep your bit from flying away while you're changing it. The handle is comfortable for what it is, but it would be even better if they offered a rubber version. This, on the other hand, is easy to clean and will not become tacky like rubber. I just bought a second one to give to a coworker, so yes, I like it enough to recommend it.

Malco has created a fantastic tool

This Malco Connext 1 Quick Connect is ideal for your tool bag or toolbox. It has a convenient handle that excludes hex head screw tips and nut drivers and is made of high-quality materials. I'll keep this handle in my tool bag for a long time. When my impact driver won't fit into tighter spaces, the handle comes in handy. I love this Malco Connext 1 this handle is well worth the money you spend on it and it ain t too expensive. 5 stars for this product and I do recommend 100%.
