It's a nice looking set and seems well made, and the company seems sincere in its effort to satisfy its customers. My small punches, however, have been bent pretty much all the way. They responded to the email I sent them after I bent 2 and said they would assist me. As of now, I am still waiting to see if I will be able to replace them. The ones that are bent will need to be replaced if that is the case. In the end, my only wish is that the set be stronger and not Please note - *Edit
In regards to replacing the punches, I sent an email to Tekton. In their request for parts numbers and photos of bent ones, they requested photos and pictures. In a reply email the same day, I sent them all the information they asked for. I haven't heard or received anything from her since then, and it's been over a month since I sent her a message. It seems that nearly all of the punches have been bent (I already had bent two at the time of inquiry). In short, I can not recommend these, since their customer support is inadequate to resolve any of the problems associated with Now that I have a tool holder that costs $43, I can show off The batteries have worn out and need to be replaced.

There is no doubt that this is a superb This product has been used on several firearms and I am satisfied with its A hole was under one of the holes on the base, but the rest of it is nice A punch was supposed to be placed inside - it was sized correctly. In general, it is a minor issue. I'm looking forward to rolling the dice. It might have been better with a pouch, but neither complaint should come close to knocking a star off the otherwise very strong set. My initial reaction to this set was one of love. My first attempt at using it caused the 3/32 roll pin punch to crack, and the 3/32 regular punch to bend. Quality was not as good as I would have liked. By way of their website, I contacted them and notified them of the issue. I received two replacements free of charge shortly after. The ones I received are not as thick as those that came with my set, so they will not fit very well in the stand. My last use of them has been a while ago so I cannot comment on their performance. In their recommendations, a smaller and more consistent blow should be used instead of a hard punch. My next experience with this company will be kinder, and I will try not to be too harsh on them. Overall, The defective parts were replaced quickly and without hesitation by them. Even if it is not their fault, they might not be at fault. It could have been that I put too much stress on my punches, which could have resulted in their failing. That's what you need to keep.

I have gone through various brands of punches and learned how important it is to invest in a quality punch. It has happened to me that I've bought "value" priced punches to find the steel easily gets nicked, deforms, and thus would no longer be flat. The tools I use in the garage are TEKTON ones but I never knew they also made tools for gunsmiths. I purchased this set without concern for its price as soon as I saw it. I have been using TEKTON tools for a long time and I am amazed with the results It doesn't matter how many tools are in the garage, so why would it be different with these? Well, I was right, these punches are great. Those very fine jobs can be accomplished with ease, since they feel great in the hands. The wooden blocks come in are very strong, and you can't go wrong with them. TETTON, you have the strongest customer loyalty in the business and constantly refer people to your ANY armorer or gunsmith - both in a professional setting as well as as a hobbyist - should have this book.

This punch set is also VERY nice because it contains all of the common punch sizes. In addition to the wooden base, there are 4 small (optional) clear rubber foot pads to attach to the bottom of the base to prevent it from sliding on a bench top. Each punch's size/type is clearly marked in the holes, and the holes are perfectly sized. I also noticed that the punches were well marked. Rather than having the taller punches on the right side positioned in the front row, it would have been better to have them in the rear The punch set on the other hand is a nice fit for your workbench. It is made in the USA, which is an added bonus!.

Set one of the finest you've heard in a long time. A sturdy punch with a good amount of strength. The punch is of excellent quality. 3 -
4- the fact it is made in the United States is enough Compare it with sets made in the U. S. and you'll find it's much cheaper.
