The answer is yes. This set is really nice, a bit short though. The longest punch is around 8" but overall, this is a nice set.
If you are looking for individual items you might want to try searching Amazon A lot of what you need is likely to be in the bay.
There is no reason to hammer it in unless you chisel it. In my opinion, it would be extremely difficult to do and most likely wouldn't be very successful.
Flat pin punches are used to punch out pins.

It was a lifesaver to have this tool set on hand. It happened to me that a wheel hub assembly was stuck on my 03 caravan and the outer race rusted to the It was a hub buster that broke the hub assembly. It was the only option that I could afford or even think of at that time, and it worked as it should. I made sure the cutting side was facing the right way, and I beat the thing with a hammer of about 2 pounds, and it works as it should. Considering this set is a great option if you want a high quality but fairly inexpensive set.
It's all about doing better work, using healthier tools, and getting a killer deal. Here is another tip that I learned from ScoutCrafter (on YouTube) Invest in an inexpensive brass headed tool hammer to save your chisels as well.
Until I received the punches, one of the roll pins was bent. The steel is poor quality and cannot be used for very long. The pouches are too deep to be usable for some of the punches, so it was a waste of time.
Their quality is good for the price. I work on alternator and motors, so I have no problem with them. It would be reasonable to use a hammer that weighs up to 36 ounces (2 pounds). Normally, I would suggest going for an American made set if you are going to be doing a lot of heavy swinging, but I use these sets for my everyday So far I haven't seen any brittle easy to break chips.
I shattered one of them the first time I used it because the steel is not very good. The price you pay is the price you get. Each size of the tapered and straight punches is included in this package. There should be one of each size of chisel. Although the pouch is lovely, some of the pockets are very close to each other in some places.

The set comes with both a punch and a chisel. A big hammer is used to smash it. The sets I have purchased previously have bent, which is much worse than the ones I have purchased so far.
