My mallet no longer had any power to drive a dent into these things if I pressed forward at an upward angle from a seated position. In fact, they did not even scratch the surface.

The few dollars it costs are worth it

They have seemed to match the description of what I purchased and paid for so far This is the truth, no more and no less. Overall, the quality seems good, although one of them does seem to have a pretty flat "tip," but that's nothing that can't be fixed with a trip to the grinder. As a whole, the money was well spent. I will update the information accordingly if this changes.

Always store your tools in a pouch that is well oiled

When I install slip-on shoes, I use these because high carbon steel will rust. Usually found at the corner of the cab or on the rocker panels of Normaly, one eighth of a prick punch will indent enough to get self-tensioning started Generally, you tap screws, but some vehicles like Jeeps and trucks have heavier gauge metal, in which case you need to punch harder.

The results I was looking for have been found here. These punches are made in the USA and are very nice! These would be enhanced if they came in plastic holding pouches and were organized in a manner that is convenient.

For what I intend to do, it is sufficient

For the price, they are pretty good. They're hard enough to accomplish what I bought them for, which was staking castle nuts onto buffer tubes while getting a sufficient divot to prevent drill bits As far as those tasks are concerned, they have served their purpose. The jury is still out on that.
