Questions & Answers
These dies are the same ones you would find in a Greenlee die cutting machine A half-inch to four inches. We only use it about seven times, but every time it cuts like butter. We are not sure how long it will last. My favorite part of this product is the 5 year warranty that comes with it, so I don't worry much about durability within the first five years.
There are two standard threads on the dies 3/4-in. With this set, you can also use Greenlee dies, however they must also be 3/4-inch diameter This thread is composed of 16 threads.
We can replace warranty parts directly by sending a message to the Amazon message system.
By contacting us directly through Amazon's contact seller feature, we will be able to make sure that you get the warranty replacement you need.
Selected User Reviews For TEMCo TH0037 4" HYDRAULIC KNOCKOUT PUNCH Electrical Conduit Hole Cutter Set KO Tool Kit 5 Year Warranty
I bought it about a year ago, and have used it several times since then. I gave it 5 stars for several reasons the tool if great and the price is great, but I won't be out of my way to give it
I broke the draw stud on my knockout set the other day. I could not undo the draw stud that wasn't threaded into the die of my 2" Due to this, I now needed to purchase a new 2" die as well as a new As soon as I contacted TEMCo, I sent them a photo, and explained what had happened. It took them less than a week to deliver replacement parts to my door. I considered the warranty process to be fair and professional, as it should be for any business.
A bend occurred on the first hole, and then the second hole broke. I think they have a 5 year warranty, so it's not a big deal. That doesn't seem to be the case. No response came from the company even after I contacted them. It is a lie to say that a warranty is valid. I had the ability to write a review, but after a month, they forgot about me. It was a bad decision. There is no use for the tool anymore. A brief update A replacement draw stud was sent to me after a bit of back and forth with Temco. After I sent them a picture of the hole I punched with it when it broke, described the metal I was punching out and explained my experience using these types of tools, were they willing to work with me. Since I was not receiving a response from Amazon, I had to contact them directly. At the end of the day, they stood by their product it seems they cared more about my review than my satisfaction with it. The tool seems to be made well, and it appears to be a quality one. I believe that a defective part caused it to break in the first place. The original review was one star, but since the company has made things right, I have given it four stars for excellent value for a good quality product. It is certain that I will purchase more of their products in the future.
The customer must pay shipping and handling for warranty returns, even if the return is made within 60 days of purchase. A leak of oil has occurred. In order to get the item repaired, I must pay shipping for the item if it has failed after 30 days (and the company is aware of the problem). My office staff and I successfully completed a big project, however we had to refill the ram pump 2 or 3 times a day so the air would flow. Oil was all over the switch and the equipment (by the way, these were food handling machines) and we had to clean it well before we handed it over It is likely I will replace this on my next big job and use it for the trotlines.
Why there are so many negative reviews I have no idea. It seems like operator error to me. This kit has helped me drill holes of an inch and a half ever since I bought it. Is very efficient, and works well. The company has not received a complaint. The price is too low to complain. 275$ is a good deal. Basically, all I had to do is dremmel the cross pattern on each coffee Using an old Greenlee KO set, I penciled out my marks and then used a diamond cut off attachment on my Dremel to lightly remove them. That's not good. The case is true. I hate it. No questions were asked, but they sent me out the replacement without a hitch. In this case we also give 5 stars to customer service. The TEMco team thanks you.
This product started leaking after I used it six times. In the absence of the pump, it cannot be used. There have been several messages sent to temco. There is a warranty of five years, according to the manufacturer. Several people have contacted me asking where the leak is coming from. There are some of those sets that say it comes with a 5-year warranty but I know it isn't a greenlee model.
There was a leak in the hose at the point where the head attaches to the nossel.
Two inches is close to two but one eighth short. Marks need to be applied to the dies for registration/layout. The rest of the purchase is good.
We are now going to look at the less than stellar aspects. My experience with Greenley sets is that the drawing stud and dies seem to be prone to some play, and can wobble around a bit. I prefer to use the Greenlee sets because the wobble is far less, and they cut better. As I had this thing blowing air at one point, it appears that it might need more hydraulic fluid as it did not have enough installed before shipping. It is excellent value for the price, but I had it gasping air during the installation process. It will be a few months before I do a second review to let everyone know how the product holds up in.
