There are plenty of metals in it, making it a sturdy piece of equipment
That should be the case. The box and type of knockout you are trying to open will determine whether you are successful. At least 1/4 inch of the drywall must be cut away on the side with the knockout in order to get the tool in to work, and the black metal piece to split out the hole. If any damage is done to the drywall, the trim plate should cover it. You might not be able to perform a knockout if it isn't a regular round.
As well as reaching and dismantling front knockouts, this tool can also reach and dismantle rear knockouts. I'll add a line between *br> and I know the names of these tools Jonathan

The tool had been used twice or three times a day for two years when it finally broke. did not always work, but that's primarily due to the thickness of the old panels and their thin stamping. It still took a lot of effort, but I gave it my best shot. Usually, most covers have a small amount of drywall behind them, so you may have to patch that too. There is jealousy among all my coworkers about As soon as my current one breaks, I'm buying a new one.
In an area where I would normally cut a low voltage plate in and hammer the knockout out, I was forced to pop the knockout out of a panel in a tight spot. Having no clearance to do so was a problem I faced in a previous case. My Hubbell Network Enclosure was installed in drywall, so I barely had any gaps around it after I used this. It was a lot bigger gap, but the panel surrounding/covering the door left no visible trace of it. I found that the tool worked perfectly, and it was easier than hammering out the knockout. It's a great tool that I highly recommend!.
I was completely delighted with the product after using it for the first time. A knockout in a wall where a panel is finished was made so much easier with this router. The one I want is the one I should have gotten.
In addition to being extremely clever, this device is very well made and sturdy.
Much better than using a hammer and screwdriver, which can often cause an outer nested ring to loosen. There is no impact or effort involved in this. I have used them several times on my home renovation so far and keep them in my electrical bag.
Electricians will find this tool very useful.
Using this tool is a wise decision.
