To date, I have not used my set. To sharpen them, I would need to use a file, then sandpaper. I probably wouldn't be able to sharpen them without a file or sandpaper. Thank you for reading. I hope that this helps.
There is nothing special about these. Get a set of commercial ones from weaver leather supply, not a set of home ones.
The hammer should be used
I think China is the answer. the quality of the products is good, so I would return to buy them.

With my current purchase of 4 leather working products from this company, I am a fan. Fit and finish are fantastic, even when applied to thick leather. These work quite well for providing a smooth end to belts, straps, etc. (see pictures) But they will not work for rounding the edges of things like wallets, bags, etc. This requires a cutter that is called an arc. This problem occurs because the name of these things seems to get mixed up. In spite of this, if you're looking to add a nice finish to straps, belts, etc. , then these are a great option.
If anyone writes a review saying they used them once and then found them dull, then it might be a bald faced lie or they did something to make them dull. This stuff is razor sharp, I can push through 5 in one push With every single one I have used hundreds of times and would not touch the blade edge. Each is made from 6 oz leather and I have touched the tips dozens of times. There's no denying the fact that these things are It will be nice to replace the bad old punched I currently have with the other two sets.
I just received my set of V-ramps today. I have not utilized these yet as I am driving and I have not been home yet, but I am telling you they hit it out of the park with the design and the packaging is absolutely stunning for $79 per punch or $200 per These punches have a great feel to them Nose job. You feel as if they are heavy duty and well-made when you hold them in your hand A great deal of detail was paid attention to. How in the heck can they possibly charge $17 for three punches. What about '99? I have purchased two other products manufactured by Owden as well, and all three were really well priced, inexpensive, and I truly do use each of them every single day. The Brasilian Republic.
The reason I decided to order all leather working tools from Amazon in one order was that a set of corner punches would be far more flexible than single options that were more costly. Despite this, you get what you pay for when it comes to blades. You will like the fit and finish of the box, but what is important is that the blades are so-so. Punches that aren't sharp get bad results, especially when used on leather. I spent some time figuring out how to sharpen these and they turned out great. The sharpened them up and they worked great after that, but you may have a different experience with them right out of the box.
It was surprising how nicely packaged these were for the price. The photo shows the larger punch cutting a 9/10oz English bridle belt. The blades are thinner than other punches, but they don't bounce like other punches. After the first strike, the swell sinks in and remains in place. However, they are still subject to a few more strikes than a CS Osborn or another. It is also nice to have a rounded tip instead of the CSO shapes. Overall, a good buy at a great price.
It looks like the punches come in nice packaging and are packaged with high packaging is the final indicator of quality. Unless you are willing to cut very thin straps, they will not cut the belt leather. The first use was unsuccessful and the battery left a dull aftertaste. My return will be upon my return.
Getting other tools is the key to an accurate corner cut. There is a slight difference between 45 and 90 degrees in this the shape of the tool makes it hard to align it with the corner of the leather since you can't see its edges. Due to my work on fine leather wallets, I stopped using it as soon as I realized that the cut didn't result in a direct 90-degree angle.
Usually, I'm disappointed after purchasing 3 tools for the price of 1 premium tool. I was hesitant to purchase this because I thought I'd be disappointed after buying three. Exceptions to the rule do happen, and this one did as well. Presented nicely in a box. I like its weight. It feels good in my hand. And the grip is good, too. It is a brand I will buy.
