Without a doubt. In any case, I wouldn't use a nail gun for finishing work. By using this tool, one can easily start a nail in tight and awkward places and also set the nail at an equal depth for finishing and tying.

The nails in the wood should be used to attach the trim nail. As far as I can tell, this tool will not work on masonry blocks or concrete. If you wanted to nail into masonry, a Ramset or Hilti gun was the best option. How are you nailing the 2 X 4s, or is it

In their description, they do not state what dimension they do not list. While I completely understand that they need to make it stronger, this could be done by making the outsdide diameter smaller in order for them to fit inside of the channels, although it still would not hold up well as you will only be driving aluminum It looks like they have a couple of different ones, but I like the nail holder idea. I broke it the first time I used it. Others reported the same thing. In spite of being missing a part of my left thumb, I continued to use this tool to finish my soffit. This item helped me drive the nials straight and started the soffit By profession, I am an engineer, and if they thin the wall or taper it at the very end, this project had no other choice but to give it to them, and I did keep it and used it myself. Prior to using it on the remaining soffit, I'm going to turn mine down on a metal lathe. It was a shame I did not do it sooner but, I was in a hurry to complete the project. I would definitely recommend his or one of their other services. My clip holder broke off, so I used a rubber band to hold ension within my ears for a while. It was very convenient, too bad because it was.

My car has been used all week and I have driven in with it. As of now, everything seems to be going well. My nails were cut to perfection all week and I drove over 100 trim nails in without any problems. Initially, I was a bit worried about the small clip holding the nail breaking easily, but so far I have not experienced any problems with it. On my way down, I dropped it from my plank onto the concrete & It can be stuffed into and out of tool pouches all day without any issues. However, it is a bit heavy, at least compared to the Malco black mini, so I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.
For the last couple of weeks, I have been installing baseboard molding and trim with this. In order to maintain the straightness of the finishing nails, I have to be cautious to position them straight, or else the nail tends to bend. A few marks are left on the cove trim, but nothing is left behind on the flat pieces of the baseboards.
The whole thing is just. . . wow. It was my understanding that I would have a quality product, as my friends told me Malco is a good brand name. The nail holder broke after the second nail was hammered in! Despite the fact that it is just a little clip, it still seems absurd. While still usable, the effects are not as dramatic as they once were.
My favorite part of this tool is its ease of use. Is a real help when nailing into narrow places! Holds nails well and allows nails to penetrate easily. Overhead nailing works well with this product. Though it holds nails with very small heads, ensure the nail head size you intend to use is compatible with this tool by checking the size of the nails first.
It was halfway through the installation of vinyl siding on my garage when I bought it. In retrospect, I wish I'd bought it from the start, because it made the job of starting nails in hard-to-reach places a lot easier You can reach all the spots you need! It is probably one of those tools you will find in the arsenal of most professionals.
