Is it possible to use this to break through a plastic guitar pick without breaking it?

If you do not have brittle material, you can punch a hole through most thin and comparatively soft material. It shouldn't be a problem to use a plastic guitar pick.

What about 1mm rubber? Can this be used?

This should work out As if it were butter, it can cut through bottlecaps with ease.

Make sure you know what the return policy is Although no punching is required, dents can be made
3/5

My spoiled mindset means I don't always review Amazon's return and shipping policies as I should because of the fast shipping and easy returns they provide. It is not eligible for returns or exchanges so if you end up with a dud like I did, there is no protection. An extra punch tip was included with the punch when it arrived quickly. I find that it's comfortable enough to hold. It was terrible to have the tip flattened before I received it, so I was grateful for the extra bit. As my first attempt, I punched soft copper 28 gauge. There was a faint trace of it, but no As a result of my frustrations, I tried 26 gauge aluminum, but both failed. There's no way to even punch paper with it. There are simply little indentations left behind. The only thing I can do is hold the indent maker, which I find fairly comfortable to hold since I cannot return it.

Upon receiving the order, I found that they were faulty immediately, and I have no way of returning In preparation for releasing a big jewelry collection in my shop, I purchased these last minute
3/5

The "Vintaj" Brand tool that I used for a good year broke after a good year of service, so I needed a new one as soon as possible. The first thing I noticed is that they ripped off the design of the Vintaj hole punch and were selling it as something else. When I looked for my normal brand, I found that it was cheaper. Secondly, I bought two of these in case of a crisis, as I didn't want to find myself in a similar As it is, I'm here. There was an immediate failure of all four hole punch points! They broke in half about five minutes after I punched five holes per point. I now have no time to order another one, and I also have two broken tools that I am unable to return, so I ended up out of pocket as well.

This product can be used on copper blanks without drilling
5/5

My recent interest in metal stamping led me to learn how to do it. At first, I was only able to use blanks that had already been punched with holes. This became a bit old after awhile The shapes available today do not necessarily all have holes in them. Additionally, the holes were arranged in a fairly standard pattern You can place one at the top or two on each side. If I wanted to make a Y connector with three holes, what would I do? My next move was to find ways to get around this limitation, and I found A fairly small hole is made by these. There is a large enough opening for a variety of jump rings, yet not so large that you cannot conceal the hole. Despite having small hands and a tiny wrist, they're not too difficult for me to use (I have weak wrists and small hands). Until now, I have mainly used them to drill holes in 24 gauge copper blanks, and they are doing the job quite well. In some cases, I do find I need to file afterward Maybe that's just my technique or perhaps the punch is enhanced in that way. The filing that involves working with metal anyway isn't really an issue, since it always involves some planning. Generally, marking the surface of blanks hasn't been a problem for me, though I've experimented with the techniques of being able to mark It seems to be safe to punch something like paper or cardstock so that it doesn't damage the surface too much (and not make the punching too difficult). When working with these, it is recommended that you wear safety goggles. Additionally, mine came with a spare punch attachment, so be on the lookout for it. I received these set in a yellow box that had a stiff, clear plastic covering that was supposed to be attached to a cardboard backing, but the backing had come loose, so the spare punch was loose on the bottom of That's why you should be on your guard. The rest of the punches on this may not need to be replaced for several punches if they're still in good condition. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with how the performance so far has turned out. Eurotool supplies occupy a significant part of my inventory now, and all of them have been pretty good. The price is reasonable, and they do the job I bought them for, so I can't complain about them.

But they are not great pliers
4/5

Those pliers do a great job of punching through metal, and I really enjoy using them. For making pendants out of nickel and sterling blanks, I used them without any problems. Punching the metal was an easy task. There is only one problem they do leave a small mark on the metal. You can solve this issue by placing a piece of card stock over the metal portion of the punch (slide it over the metal punch part, to cushion the metal). In this way, no marks will be left on the metal.

It's cheap, but it is not effective
3/5

For the price, it is okay. was able to use two of the punches in one day (bent 90 degrees), but thankfully an extra was packed. Unlike the first one, the second one doesn't do quite as well (punches the hole but doesn't separate the metal), but it does the trick for now. On the other hand, you can get more replacement punches on Amazon for $10 for 5, but if you want to spend $22+ on a hole puncher, it's better to get one that will last a long time rather than needing replacement pieces.

I guess it's not so bad after all
3/5

There was a chance these might work, so I was hopeful. A 1 punch was/is required for something I was/am looking for. Despite their strength, copper pipe fails in 25 out of 25 trials. There is no reason why they won't work for some light jobs, just that they aren't as versatile as craftspeople. It was good of them to create a pilot hole for me to drill, as it helped me in my task. When an element of pressure is applied to the pins, they bend. It would have snapped the arms if I had grabbed them really hard. There was a sense of stress in the air. Keeping looking is what I plan to do. Although I expect it to be good enough for light weight projects.

Silicone rubber at a thin thickness will not work
3/5

The Euro Tool Metal Hole Punch Pliers, 1 are designed for use with metal. The following dimensions are given in millimeters 25 The PLR - In fact, the tool does not work with thin silicone rubber, so I bought it to use on thick silicone rubber. By pressing it into the receiving hole, the cutting pin forces the rubber through, however the silicone simply springs back to the original position when the grips are released. There is a problem, however, as the hole is too large, which leaves space for the silicone to squeeze through, so no actual cuts are made. I will keep it for possible future use, but I don't think it will be of much use to me.
