This tool is made of steel and has a plastic handle that appears to be ergonomically shaped and hardened. As well as gasket material, upholstery cloth, leather, and foam rubber (1/8" through 1" thick) I have used the set to cut Although they are relatively cheap, they are quite adequate for their purpose. For me, it is the most efficient way to cut holes in leather and soft plastic. A copper sheet might cut through it once, but the cutting edge would be ruined. You should use a drill to make the holes in the coin, and after that, a metal reamer to clean them out.

Although the inch sizes are WAY off, there is no metric and inch equivalent. For example, if there is a 6mm, which shows 1/4" as its equivalent, then 4 quarters is one inch, BUT 4 6mm is only 24mm and an inch is exactly 25mm. This was one of two sets I bought from this seller after purchasing another set for a lower price. I returned the previous product because the large dies were difficult to use- Getting a cut was so difficult that I had to pound for a long time. The cut along one quarter or side of the large one was often more difficult and I was lucky to get a clean one. It is even more challenging to have your other half try and he does not have much better results than I do. As such, I returned the previous set and bought this one in its place. While I bought a cheaper kit some time ago, I believe it was Neiko, and while it worked, I had a hard time cutting it. There are a lot of improvements in this kit, including its price and sharpness. Neither I nor anyone I know can order the foam gaskets that seal each tail light bulb in my car. An inner diameter of 25 mm and an outer diameter of 35 mm are their dimensions.
