It was so slick that I had to force the seals out of my dump cylinders on my tractor with this drift. I only had to drive the retaining ring back 1/16" to remove these end seals, which were 2 1/2" in diameter. I'm not sure how this drift will work to remove a sportbike's wheel bearing, since it's basically a 1/2" diameter brass rod with a knurled end for grip.
The size isn't what I would normally use ( I'd prefer something 3/4" or wider I also tried a "1" diameter range) but that did not work too well. In this case, there won't be much of the bearing exposed, so it doesn't matter what diameter it Strike with a good sized hammer and make sure it's square

It did not deform the head, and it did not damage the surface of the object being carried.
To remove the axles from my trailers when I repack the wheel bearings, I use this brass bar. I like it a lot.
It took care of a couple of hub bearings on my 95 Nissan Hardbody with no problem.
As a result of using this tool, I was able to loosen the lock ring. I was very pleased with the results. To loosen the fuel pump lock ring on my 2009 F150, I used this tool. It wasn't a good idea to let sparks.
It's a drift punch, so I can't say anything more. This is a drift punch, so all I can say is that it worked. Based on the tarnish on the punch, it may have been sitting on a shelf for some time.
This item is something I will buy.
